compared to the live action remakes(disney go back to 2d films already/lilo & stitch was great if it was bolt then that'd be stretching it) or frozen sequels being planned for 3-4(which is the real it's not gonna happen at all as that series doesn't have enough to make several sequels when it's already been milked HARD till the cow got it's soul sucked out by the time 2 came out/first film wasn't that great tbh or the peak of disney) didn't feel tron legacy was unnecessary that i'm interested in a new one as the tv series based off it was alright(if messed up due to knowing what will happen.
for jurassic park it should alongside focusing more on the dinosaurs(an entire film about humans & even the animals learning to adapt living with the dinosaurs would be a better focus with what those short videos of it showed than forcing it to be an action movie)/maybe other prehistoric animals(instead of generic locust could've used the giant insects that existed before the dinosaurs as threats) go into the novel's horror aspects as a lot of it's elements would make good film material alongside gareth working on it with how ell he handled reviving godzilla(even if both aren't as great with the human characters outside jia & serizawa in monsterverse/returning characters in the worldfilms.
toy story 5 better end with woody/buzz and friends going to andy's kid as a bookend as 4 was already unnecessary(could've easily had bo peep reunite with woody in 3's credits.
minecraft looks horrible and is just another showing of how easily video game adaptations go bad the most when doing it in live action with how ugly it can easily look if not handled well.

I hadn't even heard of Tron: Ares till I looked at imdb upcoming for the year recently. I will wait and see on it.
I have seen every Pixar movie and loved almost all of them. But I won't see Toy Story Five unless reviews are stellar.
There is an audience for these Disney ones. Go to my local cinema on a sunday morning and there's always families there. Parents looking to take their kids to anything that'll do. Said parents care more about that than what the internet thinks, as well.
And they will take their kids for Snow White also. How big this audience is, I don't know.
The Snow White trailer irks me because she doesn't look joyful. She's dancing for self satisfaction not joy in the whistle while you work bit. And something is just not quite right with that cgi. Still, I console myself with the fact that it's only a couple of months now before I stop seeing vids about it in my recommendations.
I think it's too soon for another Jurassic World. But I'm not into the franchise anyway.
Naked Gun could work. Be nice to see Liam Neeson doing something a little different as well. But will wait and see on that too.
Also this year in December; The Running Man. Edgar Wright directing Glenn Powell, I assume that's a remake of the Arnie original. If so, did anyone ask for it

7 and 1. With all that said, I'm gonna say something SUPER CONTROVERSIAL. I really think people need to take responsibility AND accountability. EVERY YEAR we hear about how bad Live-Action Remakes of Disney films are, and people STILL KEEP SEEING THEM EVERY TIME! This is far from a new thing too, Disney in a nutshell got it right A DECADE AGO! So to see people still falling for it just boggles my mind.
And seriously, didn't it ever occur to ANYONE that maybe, MAYBE NOT giving these films any attention is the BEST DECISION you could ever make The worst attention you can give literally ANYONE or ANYTHING is NO ATTENTION. If people don't see them, they don't make money, and therefore, they don't make them. It's really that simple.

Maybe I'm an oversentimental idiot but Minecraft means a lot to me, and I know it means a lot to other people. I honestly think the movie is missing that. I know people who have cried over the death of their Minecraft pets, found the end credits poem moving, and leaped up with joy when they first defeated the Ender Dragon. All the little moments one experiences the first time playing the game I just know are going to be missing. The game is one of the ways I can do something with my long-distance friends when we can't visit each other and it hurts that the movie ignores how the game can have emotional moments.

10. They still didn't use the title And Now You Don't to cap it off. They're going to make another turd like this.
9. Tron again.
8. I know what you did three decades ago.
7. Live action Lilo & Stitch.
6. Naked Gun 5/17ths
5. Toy Story 5, Mom's Bottom Drawer.
4. The Conjuring: The Warrens are Still Hucksters.
3. Bet Jurass I'll be in the seat for a new Jurassic Park movie.
2. Minecraft Movie - Hell everyone liked the Lego movies for some reason.
1. Snow White Live Action. . with CGI short people. .. And a new origin story for her.

It’s not that people are asking for these movies. Hollywood needs to make money. Rather invest in original movies / stories that can potentially fail, studios would rather bank on a property thats already a guaranteed success. That’s why for the past 10 years we’ve been getting hit with Marvel movies, Nostalgia, and sequels. - We as consumers need to take accountability and spend money on the movies and films that are less theme park films and more natural and organic in cinema and not carbon copy sequels.

what a bunch of leftwing hypocrites! Snow Woke and the magical beings was destroyed 2 years ago because of the race swap of R. Zegler and the fact that disney would not want any dwarfs whatsoever in this atrocity, but after the leaked pictures from the set and the following shitstorm followed the reputation of the film was destroyed. Nothing after that could save it. Do your job watchmojo! As Journalist you should be ashamed of yourself

Yeah, Disney and Pixar are going to run the Toy Story franchise all the way down big time, just like what Blue Sky did with Ice Age: Collision Course 9 years ago. In fact now that Disney owns 20th Century Studios now, they are about to run the Ice Age franchise down even more with number 6 coming out the same year as Toy Story 5, oh god hopefully they'll learn their mistakes (maybe not.

Chat, by definition a franchise should never end. Why would they This is business. Just doesn't make any sense to stop a franchise on their best movie. imagine if Disney stopped doing star wars or marvel. they might as well just go out of business. A franchise can only face a reboot if a sequel doesn't make money at all but it will never stop. Just use your brains!

There are more Live-Action remakes from Disney and as they come out and mostly BOMB Maybe that lack of cash will convey to the Short sighted Executives Not just at Disney but in Hollywood in general. They are so famous for regurgitating ideas and not boosting original ideas! No wonder they cycle through them like a race car!
reply

Hey Disney we would like you to stop making movies. We loved the marvel end game and spider man and we would like you to end on a high note, so just drop it all and go do another thing, Go make cars or airplanes. Of course if you happen to make another marvel we will give you some money, We don't want to. but you know.

When is everyone gonna learn movies are nothing but cash grabs now. Directors are blaming the audiences for their movie flops. They dont give a shit about what we want, well expect for Sonic, it whatever they think will make money, and like I said, when it flops they'll blame us.

I don't think the one about A Minecraft Movie is true, because many people are actually looking forward to it due to the second trailer. Plus, we did have one of the best video game movies released recently, that being Sonic the Hedghog 3, so that should also give some confidence.
reply

I prefer the animation version of Snow White everybody loves the animation one better, but the live action one with Rachel Zegler from Shazam! Fury of the Gods come on. Why won't Disney make better live action movies like Jungle Cruise. Make the Jungle Cruise sequel already.
reply

For me, Toy Story ended when Andy realised that he had to grow up, and gave the toys to Bonnie. The fourth movie was alright, but felt unnecessary. A FIFTH movie just feels that they're stretching it out overally long, since Woody won't even be with Buzz, Jessie and the others.
reply

I think what makes the Minecraft movie even worse is that the company has said that the movie isn’t made for the people complaining about it as if! Minecraft was made for gen z and gen z is calling it a cringe fest, idk why they are catering the film towards gen alpha

The Movie of 2025 that no one wants to see is Superman, because since JamesRacistGunn had planned a soft reboot it’ll be another failure for Warner Bros, and if JamesRacistGunn’s
Superman and DCU fails, it’s to pack everything up and leave Warner Bros. For good!

reply

Disney is only remaking everything live action because they need to renew the copyrights and trademarks of the characters. They’re only valid for 25 years! They don’t care if the movies lose money as they’ll make it all back with the merch in stores
reply

I’m actually thinking Snow White may be a huge box office success. Not because it will be good but because so many people will want to see how bad it is to believe it, I mean look at The Room by Tommy Wiseau that was so bad it became a huge hit off being terrible
reply

Corporations don't make what, you want they make what they want to sell based on their collective checklists. Movies by the committee is back until Hollywood collapses and rebuilds itself again, like after the studio system collapsed (for the same reasons)
