Beagle And Bunny Are Basically Sisters Slightly off-topic but my dog had bad breath a while back, and I found two solutions. The first is a product that is sold in the UK, and is bound to be available in the US too. Guess Im not allowed to name the brand, but its basically a chew stick thats shaped kind of like a star if you look at it from the blunt end. This gets into the awkward places around the teeth. I give my dog one every night before she goes to bed. Highlight of her day! Secondly, it has been found that Norwegian kelp (seaweed) helps greatly to prevent plaque from sticking to a dogs teeth. The story is that it was originally developed for humans (Im one of them) and apparently loads of people wrote to the company, saying how well it had worked and could they make a version for dogs They did so. Its exactly the same, except that its not contained within a capsule. Its just loose powder that you sprinkle a tiny bit of over their food. My dog almost never has bad breath - maybe once in 6 months or so shell be a bit pongy for a couple of days, but thats it. And of course, its not just a question of odour. Plaque is the cause of tooth problems and tooth loss. My vet recently told me that my 6 year old shar pei had the teeth of a one year old. Again, I probably shouldnt mention the brand, but its pretty easy to find on Amazon and it starts with the word plaque!

I have had rabbits. they look sort of docile and dumb. but that's just a ruse. Their personalities really come out the more you make them part of the family. mine liked children, and would do silly tricks to make them laugh.
And they are trainable. Mine knew EXACTLY what he wasn't supposed to do. but he figured ALL bets were off. IF NO ONE WAS LOOKING.
The downside. they think EVERYTHING is edible, until proven otherwise. usually AFTER it's badly chewed. And their teeth grow continually, so they do need an object to bite on. Like furniture, or equipment wires. If you let yours roam the house unattended, I would suggest some kind of muzzle that keeps their mouth shut. Giving them their freedom, and you your stuff.

I had a bunny as a pet that was exactly like Rue. The breed is called a Cinnamon rabbit. They kind of look like a groundhog with long ears. He was one of the sweetest rabbits I have ever had as a pet. He lived a good long bunny life. They are a big bunny and are extremely friendly. Good choice for Chloe to have as a pet friend!

If your dogs breath is bad you need to take them to the vet and see about its teeth and gums. If that is not the problem perhaps your dog needs those doggy prebiotics or probiotics whichever they are. It could also be the food that you're feeding your dog is messing up its digestion.

Bunnies will play chase, believe me. My mixed breed bunny Pebble used to roughhouse and chase my cat. My cat would spend afternoons in the hutch playing nestbuilding with Pebble. They spoke each other's behavioural languages and were inseparable.

I hope my puppy will be this sweet to our rabbit but she likes to chase him and nip at our rabbit. The rabbit will fight back and punch the dog with his front paws which is cute but a little scary cause the rabbit has very sharp nails

Rue and Clo sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-in-g. This is what I think of when I see them together. If two separate entities can appreciate one's differences why can't we. Love is grand for those who choose to love
reply

Instead of appreciating two different species that overcome their natural instincts (one fear and one hunting, you have to make it ugly.
Feed her a rabbit and she'll know what they're for.
Oy vey.

Glad I’m here watching and not there to smell the bedroom with a rabbit and a dog living indoors. They look like great friends and I’m glad you gave them both homes. You’re fantastic.

I knew a bunny and kitty that used to play chase, Ella the bun would charge and then look behind her to see if Seamus was coming after her. They loved each other so much.
reply

Ah, this is so cute. I’ve had beagles and they are so sweet. I enjoyed how Chloe learned how to play and be with Rue. Sending hugs to Chloe and Rue.

A guy had a beagle for hunting rabbits. Dog's name was Sam. When Sam died, he got another Sam, and so on. He would have laughed for days seeing this video.
reply

I imagine the Beagle didn't fight the bunny because the Beagle is domesticated and not living off survival instinct.
Basically is rewired.
