Adam Conover has been making sketch comedy since the earliest days of the Internet, and now he streams games on Twitch when he's not shooting his TruTV show, Adam Ruins Everything! Today we play Cuphead with him and do our best to ruin it

I have no idea how it holds up, but a friend introduced me to Olde English waaay back in middle school and we thought it was the FUNNIEST stuff we'd ever seen. Awesome to see that one of the creators went on to such a career! Thanks for making a tween at a really shitty time of life laugh.

Adam was wrong. Twitch is just what we used to do when your friend has this game he's really good at and you just wanna look at him beating it. You'd show up at his place and just watch the gameplay while hanging out.

The highest emotional difficulty for Adam Conover would likely be imagining each enemy is a physical representation of a fact he's twisted or ignored to suit his narrative and bosses just represent Metaphysical Truth.

Oh yeah, cpr usually doesnt work. But it has a lot to do with how quickly someone starts cpr. Also, its still far better than the alternative, which is doing nothing and then burying the person.

Great interview, but a few tweaks could make it the best interview show idea since Hot Ones. Celebrities play tough games or rage games to throw them off balance the same way the hot sauces do.

This interview was very fun and interesting, however the title of the video made me think that this entire video was just Adam playing Cuphead. I would love to see more of that segment.

I like how hats/caps are being treated more as a hairstyle accessory than a cover up with the way they're worn so pushed back. If you have curly/fluffy hair it looks so nice.

The xbox one controller has a 10ms latency, even over bluetooth.
If you want the man to have good reflexes use a DS4 over bluetooth as it has a 1000hz polling rate (1ms)

This video should have been AT LEAST 10 minutes. I would watch and love the whole interview and gaming segment, unedited. Please cut less, more is more.

The CPR fact is interesting, because instead of phrasing it as -CPR only works 20% of the time-, you _could_ say -CPR can bring back the dead 20% of the time-

It's good to see Polygon pulling in some guests away from the gaming industry. I'd love to see more people on here from different forms of media

can we PLEASE get this series in a longer format? Pat is a great interviewer and hilarious boy, and both this and the T-Pain interview are a delight
reply

Man, I really wanna see Adam in more Polygon stuff. Both their whole shits seem pretty rad and this is like a reese's cup but as a video
reply

Heads up - this video isn't Adam playing Cuphead, its an interview with Adam about his career, with about a minute of Adam playing Cuphead.

This video made me realise that I too have forgotten what my grandfather's voice sounds like and will also never hear it again.

I've missed Pat. This was good and inspiring and sad all at once and captures much of how I feel about both Cuphead and life.
reply

Figures he'd do something like this after being challenged on Rogan and proven how much of a beta he is lol
reply

I'm really loving this series of Pat interviewing and chilling with guests, and it's just a really fun time
reply

I need an entire video of Pat's depressing facts, read by Pat while he stares into the camera/my soul
