The Strangest Disney Park in the World - The History of Fun, Episode 2 Disney is the definition of a problematic fave, I agree, but I also agree that their attention to detail is impressive and immersive. The closest thing a non-Disney Park has to it is Diagon Alley in Universal Studios, which has an actual Knockturn Alley in it. Speaking of! I-d love an episode on Universal Studios too, specifically the Cool Japan stuff that Universal Japan got and we didn-t. No matter how popular stuff like Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball Z are over here, I can-t see them porting the rides over and giving them an English dub.\r\n

Hey, your local WDW Cast Member here with some things. I don't know if this was just in the way it was phrased, but both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are licensed. Cast members can get into all of the other Disney parks regardless of which one they work at except those two for that reason. Also, Disneyland has a hotel that exits into the park. DisneySea is not the only one. For the Duffy story, both are right, Minnie made Duffy for Mickey on his voyage and then Tink brought him to life. Just thought I would add on to some of your knowledge. :)

this was so wonderful! honestly my favorite parts of the park were the non disney areas. I loved the mysterious island area and absolutely adored the Sinbad ride, it was honestly my favorite part of the whole park. the chandu tail, a chicken meat pie-esque delicacy inspired by the tiger mascot, was gross as hell tho.

I've been to every Disney park in the world and I must say that Tokyo Disneysea is the Best theme park in the world, hands down, with -Journey to the Center of the Earth- being the best theme park ride ever built. And he's right, Epcot is overrated.

With the mix of the island and Jules Verne aesthetics, DisneySea felt like a theme park based on the game Myst (especially with all the star charts and stuff in Fortress Explorations. It is really cool to wander around.

I accidentally fell asleep to this episode and had a weird fever dream about DisneySea while Plante was describing it. Pretty fun, do recommend.

This sounds like one of those ideas that never happened but you want to have happened so badly, but this one is real! I can't believe it!

Tokyo Disneysea was one of the best theme park experiences I've ever had, I definitely recommend it if you're ever in Tokyo!

If they get this amazed about the Tokyo tower of terror they-d shit themselves if they research Phantom Manor.

The third park will be DISNEY SKY, no longer based in Japan, but based around space, planes and stuff.

Disney sea was the only Disney park that I've been to, if it's the best is it worth going to any others?
