Nick and Griffin Head to Greener Pastures - CAR BOYS, Episode 36
video description
Months later we find nick and griffen trying to distract themselves and get as far away as possible, in a new reality. But no matter how many distractions they seek, no matter how far they run, they know they can not deny the looming threat of the blob which lurks on the horizon ready to consume all of existence.
Time is not on their side.\r\n

After being killed by the blob and getting sent to the Sun Chips place to receive a message from the Sun, they've been transported to a pocket dimension to both gain a reprieve and learn new skills to ready their souls for the final battle. It's definitely not a real place, as the cows are 2-D and cabins are empty, but it was the best the Sun could do in such a hurry to hide and protect the boys' souls from the Blob's all-consuming shadow.

Griffin made an Eva joke, but he missed the obvious solution. The blob's real body is the shadow on the ground, and the thing you're trying to kill is the blob's shadow.
I suggest getting sucked into a pocket dimension and violently driving a car out of it.

at 23: 39 it briefly appears like a Grim Reaper-esque hooded figure with its arts outstretched and seeing such humanoid qualities in the blob is potentially the most unnerving part of this episode.

The blob knows it is within a video game. It has achieved mastery over its medium. It can rewrite its existence after being destroyed. It knows of the six blobbing ways. The blob has achieved CHIM.

If they kept the blob in the scenario where it is tethered and ever expanding and resetting then they have a Prometheus situation where it is damned to die again and again eternally.

I enjoy how in the first episode Griffin references stealing lawnmowers, and in one of the final episodes, he mentions putting lawnmowers in a shed so that nobody steals it.

At about 11: 54 it genuinely sounds like Nick is the main villain and Griffin is desperately trying to stop him from doing more torture. Who are the real villains even?

at 3: 33 the mixture of the lighting, disjointed bell sounds, and the fact that the cows are always staring at the camera makes it feel like a horror game

I feel like the Blob can not only consume entire worlds and expand infinitely, but also somehow telepathically make people love and worsh- WHOO GO BLOB! LUV U

For a sec I thought this was a twilight zone thing where the blob had mind wiped our boys to ensure his victory

Nick mentioned Beetle Adventure Racing and unlocked a memory in me. I played so much of that game, how did I forget about it!

I take it back Nick is clearly the Gendo, what with his sacrifice of the innocents
And then Griffin made an actual NGE reference

-Are we going to have a full-blown Dennis the Menace Catapult situation? I think they call that a slingshot. -

This far into the series, and I have still not seen any damage occur to a steering wheel. Is it the hidden Busto?

I'm convinced those cows are emissaries of the blob. They weren't furious; they were worshipping its arrival.

Nick and Griffin learn that using dark powers to send a friend to a higher plane is a BAD, BAD IDEA.
