I’ve seen many reviews online, all from non-islander people absolutely hating the movie calling it demonic, boring, walking out the theatre, and expecting perfection. As an islander I watched it yesterday and was fantastic reason it stink for them is cause they are boring themselves, haters and don't have a heart & soul of a Islander to love the movie, all they do is complain, maybe they need to go watch Wicked and Gladiator which is the worse movie ever

Before watching the movie myself I read a few reviews only and they were not looking the best, so I was expecting nothing much. But when i watched the movie I realised it is great, even though it did not reached the level of first movie but it was great. I loved the storyline and everything and the songs and animation everything was great. The new crew was also fantastic, I personally think the hate is so unnecessary.

Top things I missed. What was the purpose of Matangi She somehow captures Maui, she taunts him, sings a song, then lets Moana and Maui jump down the warp gate to get rid of all that silly sailing stuff and just get to the final boss level. Almost like she wasn't really a villain at all, but a fortune teller that knew she needed to hang onto Maui to wait for Moana to show up.

I am going to spread the word online about how we need to spread love about prequels sequels trilogies spin offs remakes and reboots that we need to appreciate all prequels sequels trilogies spin offs remakes and reboots for how different they are from each but by not comparing them to one another being so mean about them because they are here for a reason

This movie was great, and the story was good, but it does have some holes in it. Like how there is no true villain to up the anti in the film, also Matangi just disappeared and her story didn't feel finished. The new characters also were fun, but we didn't get to know them as well as I'd hoped. But it's definitely worth a watch.

I’m so excited to see Moana too next week! I don’t understand why it’s getting all this hate. It doesn’t deserve it! It’s a heartfelt compelling and complex story that we need right now. The songs are incredible! I love Moanas bond with her little sister and the most!

Saw it with my grandson-we enjoyed it and had a great afternoon. The music was not as good as the first, and I’m sure I missed a few subtle humor moments, but will want to re-watch it on Disney. Still confused about Bat-lady’s character and purpose, though.

I’m surprised they brought back the guy who tried to flirt with Moana from first movie, I also remember Dwayne daughter didn’t want her own dad do a live singing version of your welcome and wanted to hear the actual song from movie.

Everything about this is wrong. Disney was _so_ desperate to make money that they butchered a promising series and rebranded it into YET ANOTHER CASHGRAB NOBODY ASKED FOR!
