Boy Bands denote to a group of singers who can dance. If they are primarily known for their dancing and vocals, then it's a Boy Band. Pop Bands are groups of musicians that can sing and are known for playing instruments. Jonas Brothers is a pop-rock band, Joe is primarily known for lead vocals only while his brothers back him up on instruments with Nick chiming in on vocals too. The Backstreet Boys don't play any instruments and all of the members are both singers and dancers.

I'm suprised that this list didn't include British boybands McFly and Busted. The only band I'm familiar with is the Jonas Brothers who covered the song 'Year 3000' which was originally written and perferformed by Busted.

I think Busted, Mcfly, Blue, Take that (I know theyre big in 90s but they came back in the mid 00s and were still successful, A1, and Blazin squad should be on this list too.
