Yeah, I think the jellyfish sting pee thing has been discredited. I'm pretty sure saltwater is actualy helpful? It should also be readily available since, you know, oceans are where you're most likely to get stung. Vinegar is apparently good too, though not for Man o Wars (which are not actually jellyfish, technically.
The ___11: 30__ on a Wednesday_ comment was rather biting and on point. It's one of the things about the show that's a bit delusional, or at least very optimistic view of the realities of working for a living. That, and the apparently generous rent control allowing Monica (et al) to cheaply rent a pretty nice apartment in NYC, even when she wasn't doing well financially. Mind, the apartment/home thing isn't unusual for shows and movies. The crews need a lot of room and places to shoot, so they have the places be more generous than is realistic for the lifestyle of the character(s) in question.
The _Moo Point_ is classic 'dumb character making a good point by misinterpreting something' though. If you're arguing with someone who's being particularly difficult/inane and you can replace everything they say with 'Moo' and it has the same level of contribution to the conversation, than they sure are making a 'Moo point' to you at least.
EDIT: Oh, and if I recall correctly Joey wasn't initially intended to be so dim. They just decided early on that the group needed a dimwit type character for that kind of humour.

Completely disagree with number one. Joey was able to put the pieces together on Monica and Chandler's relationship despite having two clues that he heard in completely different gaps of time. That was impressive.
I also loved the advice he gave Ross when Rachel went on a date, on how to shift his dreams into new ones and know that there was a beautiful baby in the end.

one of the wise moments of JOEY when he was lending money to monica and chandler after chandler quites his job. When monica asked joey to keep that a secret, he almost spilled it to chandler and in that moment he comes up with the answer that even he was surprised. His reaction was OHH I AM ON FIRE TODAY.

They made Joey go from an airhead in the earlier seasons to just downright dumb in the later seasons. I mean by the end of the show they made him have the intelligence level of a 5 year old & even then most 5 year olds are smarter than how they made Joey seem. Hated that they did that to his character.
