12: 29 Yes! This is honestly the kind of scene I find is quite lacking in many live action depictions of Robin Hood. Most versions do well in establishing why Robin is respected and beloved by his band of Merry Men; but the scenes depicting why he is loved by all the common often take a back seat.
Getting behind & revering a dude standing up to the greedy tyrant is one thing; everyone loves that story. But the hero actually consistently showing up to defend and protect the needs and rights of the common people, thus earning their undying loyalty and respect, over a steady period of time? That's the part of the Robin Hood legend that I wish got fleshed out better in most film adaptions. Disney totally made me believe that Robin Hood has been Nottingham's beloved protector for quite some time, before he helped fell Prince John's rule.
Also. if you haven't at LEAST briefly entertained a meta headcanon that Robin Hood & Skippy are Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps' ancestors; you're in denial lol.

I say the most underrated scene in a Disney film would have to be the moment in the Hunchback of Notre Dame when Quasimodo thinks Esmerelda is dead. Yes, it is a sad moment and that type has been done numerous times, but what makes it powerful is because for a moment, you think she is. Besides, she was surrounded by a lot of smoke so of course it would be haunting and someone you loved think he or she is dead.

Well. I don't know why you are calling Disney movie every movie that Disney had saled. Disney movie is movie created by Walt Disney Animation Studios (and mostly all are musicals. which are not Pixar movies, Marvel movies. and many others. Disney is only distributor not a creator. it is like when you called Pulp Fiction Miramax movie, not a Tarantino movie. Creator is much more important than distributor.

The Great Mouse Detective isn't a take on Sherlock Holmes; it's based on the Basil of Baker Street novels by Eve Titus. I'd also argue that the more underrated scene in the movie is the phenomenal chase scene inside Big Ben, which was the second instance of Disney using CGI for elements in one of its feature length animated films. It's a remarkably animated scene.

The Great Mouse Detective is based off the wonderful kids adventure/mystery books by Eve Titus. My favorite is Basil and the Pygmy Cats, in which Basil searches for a fabled island with cats smaller than mice. Mouse Sherlock Holmes wasn't an original idea from Disney. It was roundabout from Eve Titus' mouse mysteries.

Not going to lie when I was a child. I remember falling in love with that female squirrel in SITS when I saw it for the first time. And I still fall in love every single time I rewatch this movie. I guess it explains I have slight furry love.

In the honorable mentions, that scene in Frozen's not underrated. In fact, that's one of the many, many reasons why it's the WORST and most OVERRATED Disney movie ever made alongside it's undeserving cash-grab sequel.

My favorite scene has to be in Coco when Imelda and De La Cruz sings La Llorona at his show. I find it hilarious that the audience in the movie thinks Imelda trying to get Hectors photo from De La Cruz is part of the show

It's true, even though Disney has created nothing but classic and iconic animated films everyone single one of them has at least one underrated scene. but as underrated as these scenes may be we all love them anyway!

I swear I thought the title said underrated SONGS not scenes. I would like to see the songs from Disney films that may not have been the most famous from the film but nonetheless, a catchy or just overall great song.

The Emperor's New Groove will never stop being an underrated gem. The comedy is just so spot on and the amount of memes that came out of this movie are still relatable to this day
