Princess Leia is an example of how a feminist lead is supposed to be shown. Not invincible, but strong. with motivations and flaws. Leia set up the example of how you must write such a character. She gives hope to others, she leads others. She leads the rebellion, she leads her brother, her boyfriend, she is also the reason why her lost son turns to the light side. And now we know that she even indirectly led and gave hope to her Godfather Obi Wan Kenobi. Just for him to become her 'only hope'. What a character! RIP Carrie, thank you for this Gem. Look this little girl is carrying on your legacy.

Am I the only one that likes to pretend that the sequels never happened? I like to picture the stories of Luke, Leia and Hans ending as they end with three of them, Chewie, C3PO and R2D2 smiling at the end of Return of the Jedi as canon for me, with the force ghosts of Anakin, Obi-wan, Yoda and the rest smiling down at them, for me personally the 3 sequel films are not canon.

I recently finished The Last Jedi and it occured to me, Leia's lost everything. Han is dead, her son's on the dark side, both her biological and adoptive parents are dead, the planet she was raised on has been destroyed (which means any friends she made during childhood are dead, Obi Wan Kenobi is dead, and now she's lost her twin. Girl's got nothing left.

she's the best character from the whole franchise, a true survivor and warrior. Even knowing she was the daugther of Vader, she'd lost so much: Padme, the Organas, the planet Alderaan and her people, Obi Wan then years later her son to the dark side, her husband, her brother, her friends but she never gave up even in her grief.

Leia and Obi Wans relationship is what I love most about the series. Everytime Leia is on screen, all I see is Anakin. She is so much like her father.
Besides this, I need more Jedi Leia. I would love to see a skywalker twins series where we can see more of Luke training Leia and see them learn more about their parents.

One quibble with this video - if you had read the Rise of Kylo Ren comic that dropped right before TROS came out, it was established that Ben Solo didnt destroy the Jedi academy. It was a ploy to turn Bens friends against him and set the final push for Ben to seek refuge (and his fall to the dark) with Snoke.

Leia will always be one of ym favourite characters she has been a wonderful amazing character and gone through so much! Carrie has done an amazing performance and little Vivian has done an AMAZING performance in the obi Wan series I love her moments in the show so much!

I like Leias role in the Obi Wan Kenobi show. I think its necessary, because there has to be a way for her to know who Obi Wan is before she grows up and sends a message to him.
