It's a little disappointing Ms. Mojo never mentioned Syd Barrett when talking about Pink Floyd. I know he was technically with the band for 3 years, but his shadow loomed so large over everything the band did. Like Meg White, his mental illness caused Syd to turn away from the spotlight. He never did defeat his demons before his death at age 60.
Destiny's Child was too much talent concentrated in one group. You can't really argue about the ladies' solo success.
Honestly, I'm kinda glad R. E. M. called it quits before they became a shadow of themselves. I love me a lot of 70s and 80s rock and roll, but seeing some of these bands trying to rock out like they did in their 20s when they're old enough to collect Social Security is sad.
The Eagles were a powder keg ready to blow from early on. It's amazing how some of these bands can be so great while actively hating each others' guts.
Of course The Beatles had to be #1. Fifty-plus years after their breakup, people are still talking about how and why they disbanded. Yoko Ono got too much grief for breaking them up. She didn't help, but she wasn't the only reason the acrimony behind the scenes existed.
If I could add a #11, it would be The Police. Though they officially called it quits around 1986, they weren't spending a lot of time around each other for a few years prior. Sting and Stewart Copeland butted heads, and Andy Summers got caught up in it many times. They had at least one more great album in them.

To be honest though I would just be happy if they came back together and even just toured their last album! As for all the comments about Little Mix, I truly believe that the three girls will come back together and make more music! I think it's just with two of them having babies and stuff they want to take a much deserved break after their last tour. Idk if Jesy would ever come back or even do a performance with them again, but tbh she seemed miserable there so she's probably better off.

Well for me it was Geri leaving the Spice Girls. It seemed sudden from my viewpoint, but backstage she had a lot going on. When Mel C (my favourite Spice Girl) left, that was even more devastating. I followed the girls into their solo music careers for a while until my now favourite artist launched her career in 2000 and she slowly drew my interest away.

No spice girls? That about murdered my spirit! They gave me so much confidence and self worth! Scary spice told me my crazy curly hair was perfect the way it was back then! I'm not from the uk but when the group 5ive broke up! J brown left and he still hasn't come back even though the rest are getting back together made me super sad!
