Christ, the list is indomitable and your number one is a movie I begrudge watched against my will at the time and it has stayed with me ever since. You couldn't hate on a movie more than I did with A Walk To Remember before sitting to watch it under duress. All my arguments, cynicism, any sense of jadedness just evaporated away into tiny particles lost forever into the mists of time. Mandy Moore just flat out not only surprised me, but completely floored me. I didn't see it coming. Her sincerity and authenticity to the role really made me a Moore head ever since. Her talent is immense. The leading man guy I never heard of and still don't know by heart, but he grabbed me instantly when I couldn't be more resistant or uninviting to accepting what I thought would be pandering, condescending, dumbed down YA level of teen melodrama formulaic trivial disposable nonsense, and I bought it anyway. Maybe it was all things, maybe it transcended all those cheap, premeditated scorn labels, who really knows or ultimately really cares. In the end, it's the execution. And this heart achingly sincere movie wears it's heart on it's sleeve and wins you over almost immediately. I guess I'm not completely dead inside yet.
FYI: The opening introduction to our main leading guy is actually a GREAT done in one take oner shot that is really inspired. The filmmakers caught me off guard the instant classic set up of characters bouncing in and out of frame driving up to this one rondeau point all these teens are meeting up at; all building up to the mike-drop moment of our main reluctant hero's grand entrance and charismatic reveal that a magnetic presence has just orbited our stratosphere. Excuse the crudity of this next statement, but our main actor guy delivers what your suppose to in a big intro scene like this and that's bringing the big dick energy. Which he does like he's GD bigfoot going full Monty, hanging brain. That's a metaphor. Of his presence as an actor and gravitas, ahh, you get it. It's actually well choreographed with perfect camera swipes and quick pans laying out the lay of the land of this strange new world and it's inhabitants we're about to suddenly find ourselves immersed in and unwittingly grow instantly attached to and invested in without apology. Twenty years later, this film has lost none of it's power. I can't shake it.

Dead pets society My girl: I cry EVERY TIME I see from the bees up to the end, still luv the movie though Bridge to terrabithia has so many heart strings for different things from the outset, you know something huge is coming and will have you crying each time you watch it and I cry every time, just like you if youve seen it or watch it after this vid mines if included are remember me and my sisters keeper

I personally cant stand people who cry during films. I have seen many a sad film and have never shed a tear. This is because I know that the film is either not real, as well as possessing the knowledge that death and awful circumstances are just a part of life. Death is only the end of a life, and the continuation of your soul into the afterlife. Death has a dignity all its own.

My #1 even if I watch it even more then I have is The Fault in our Stars seen Five Feet Apart which is sad too Isn't as sad for me never seen your 1 and 2 but will make it a to do list cause a good cry now n then is needed, to be honest 16 of them I have never seen some seem really good but thanks to spoilers I might have ruined them from watching

Before watching Bridge to Terabithia, I read the Book, which I enjoyed despite You-Know-What. The same thing applies to the film. When they left Terabithia during the rain, I suspected that when Jess watched Leslie leaving, that was the last time they saw each other.
All These movies can make even an adult Cry.

I dont usually watch teenage movies. To be honest I avoid them. As a general rule I avoid dramas as entertainment of any kind. Therefore I havent watched most of these. With the exception to The club of dead poets. (And In my girl) Absolutely no relation to quality or worth. Its just not for me.

I remember reading bridge to terabithia as a kid in elementary and sobbing. When the movie came out, I didnt realize what it was til like half way through watching the movie and was like nooooo and started crying before the sad ending even happened, my family looked at me like I was crazy.

I gotta say, I've never watched any of these movies in full, and I didn't feel much of anything at most of these clips. But for some reason, #17 and #12 made me SOB. #1 was beautiful. And Bridge to Terabithia broke my heart but I know that movie way better than all the rest.

There is one that you may have forgotten. Its called, One Last Thing, about a 16 year-old with an inoperable brain tumor. He makes a wish through a generic Make-A-Wish Foundation, to go on a date with a supermodel. He passes away at the end with a smile on his lips.

Im kind of surprised to hear Spontaneous isnt on this list.
That film was basically a lesson saying Bad things can and do happen to anyone, and there isnt a rhyme or reason as to why.

The only movie I watched out of all of these was Dead Poets Society because they put it in school (English class, you know. I tried my hardest (and succeeded) at not crying. But its just sad
