DARK BETTY - She was and still is dealing with some serious shit that has been constantly highlighted in this show. How is that bad, eh! She was always pressured to be this perfect girl by her parents and uncovering this side of Betty is good while she gets help from her friends. Why on earth is that cringy! They touch on some very real pyscological issues that were buried inside of Betty since she was a child.
Don't come to conclusions when you don't fully understand the depth of a situation such as this being represented on a TV show. You guys have really gotta chill.
I'M A WEIRDO - This line is not cringy. Like, seriously! It is iconic! It must've been really hard for jughead to that out loud, especially in front of Betty while he was dealing with so many other stuffs in his life. It's something that is true about him and believe it or not, it's not always easy to admit it in front of others.
HENCE, NOT CRINGY.
Varchie's dynamic - Though it's always been an on and off thing and I'm not the biggest fan but they're really so good with each other and, Veronica is the best girlfriend you could ever ask for. Best daughter, best friend, you name it. Do you realise the characters are just a bunch of teens who are trying to navigate some serious adult-shit sorta stuffs in their lives and, that when she said that they were endgame, do you get how painful it would've been for her to know that Archie ( afte he escaped / released from the juvenile detention center ) was going away from her where for the most part, Veronica did everything in her power to make that shit happen?
Call me crazy. Idc! This show is so good and it touches on some really sensitive yet important issues in the most elegant way possible and I'm so grateful to be a part of the Riverdale fandom.

okay, but Jughead is SUPPOSED to be cringey. that's why Cole Sprouse took the role in the first place lol. He's said on more than one occasion that Jughead reminds him of his awful, cringey teenage self and that he WAS that 'angsty' kid. so, like. he's played like that on purpose XD I say nothing in defense of the writers, because the entire cast has dragged the terrible writing in interviews lmao but at least the actors are aware of how awful it is? (ngl, still love this show. it's absolute trash TV, but I love it lol)

Riverdale is a whole trainwreck, the seasons that follow each other are so unlinked and its not a like a one piece story since season 1, and the fact they bring superpowers to s6? I mean since when an ordinary teen drama tv and reality show becomes suddenly a fantasy or supernatural in one of its seasons? The writers are so out of ideas thats why they created the gargoyle king in season 3( this is also kinda supernatural ) and sabrina in s6 and comets lol. This show has lost all his way

I wonder if you even have seen this show. Since you can't even get FP's name right. There is a purpose to the jailhouse rock scene. Veronica wanted to cheer Archie up. She knew about the football game. And football games have cheerleaders. Also Archie has good purpose for the football game. Helps him and his teammates bond along with the other team. They are all young fit men. It was to help them get along with each other.
