Tommy Flanagan's Life Since Sons Of Anarchy
Norse: I met him in Nashville and was super excited! I also got to meet Ryan Hurst and was not such a big fan. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Ryan as he was obviously excited to meet his fans and was more than happy to take a picture with me. I scheduled a picture with Tommy and ended up thoroughly disappointed. I waited in line to see him and the two women, (who were mother and daughter 50+ years old) in front of me told me of meeting him earlier that day in which he saw a prop ring of thee Chibs on her finger and demanded it back. The woman refused and took it as playful banter with serious faces. I however became sceptical as to the meeting the two of us were about to have. I walked into the photo opt area for Tommy and introduced myself and extended my hand to shake his. He shook my hand and simply said Tommy put his arm around my waist and smiled for the picture. I was then rushed off by staff and told to follow the walkway and retrieve my picture at the end. The pictures were scattered on a long table and you had to look to find yours. It was rushed and inpersonable whereas Ryan made a point to ask me how I was and even asked about the bruises on my arms I had from moving boxes. The picture turned out amazing with both of us smiling the most genuine smiles a person could have! Real emotion from an actor with his fans! Tommy, unfortunately, did not share that enthusiasm and it was disappointing. Date: 2020-07-14
