Times Futurama Freakishly Predicted The Future Mark: Making robots that run on alcohol is pretty easy. If the robot is efficient enough with electrical use, you could fit it with a small ethanol-powered engine to turn a generator. The problem with this though is the ethanol will need to be pretty much 95+%. To run on something like beer, there would need to be some sort of fuel cell that can somehow turn weak alcohol into electricity. There exists direct-ethanol fuel cells, but I'm not certain if they can currently run on weak ethanol solutions like beer. It is promising though. A future filled with robots that can do their own thing without the need of human intervention and can refuel on commonly available materials, like beer, could potentially be a thing. The big problem is the whole possibility of robots figuring out that they don't need humans and deciding to kill all humans to get them out of the way. All they would have to do is be able to build their own robots (replicate) that can do everything that humans can do.
On a side note for anyone still reading this comment, I predict that there will be a virtual world and technology that can separate the consciousness/soul of the player from their physical shell and inject it into the virtual world in a manner that will, to them, seem like reality. It will bring about a lot of questions about our own existence such as, Are we in a virtual reality and just have become so comfortable in it that we fail to realize it as such?

Titles is just wrong. Maybe times where futurama is vaguely similar to things that happened after it was created. It did not predict the future. Call me a hater but you obviously forced this video for views.
1. The wrist thingy is nothing like the Apple Watch
2. The floating camera is nothing like a drone with a camera attached
3. The movies are acceptable
4. Like you said, alcohol is not fuel.
5. The celebrities are not being immortalized, they are visual effects. Completely different.
6. Virtual reality games is acceptable.
7. Smell-o-scope, the only similarity is that you smell from it. Dont even try.
8. The fake robots are kind of similar, but NOTHING like copying real humans.
9. Interactive films, not predicting future its already existed.
10. Beauty pageant is kind of pretty similar

We have an interactive movies on dvd! Final Destination 3 is one. Maybe not the best example but you can chose what order the victims die in. We arent that far off having an interactive cinema experience. You just have to ask how many want to see a movie which is dictated by the majority of viewers and wether it marrs the initial experience or not.

Technically in theory you could detect smells from long ranges, if you could use a spectrometer to detect the atomic composition of an odor, then have the device reproduce the smell at the atomic level for you to smell locally. But of course neither technology exists yet so we'lre a long ways off.

You forgot the gender neutral Pac-person (arcade machine in the background in The series has landed)
The way they portrayed the past somewhat off is brilliant! The series is pure genius overall!
Can't wait for my blank robot to arrive! :P

Did You Know There Is Actually Beer For Dogs?
It Actually Exists, Really
OK, It Doesn't Actually Have Any Alcohol, But It Is Still Called Beer By The Company That Makes It.

The drone was also predicted by the Green Hornet TV show. Dubbed scanner, it was launched from a trunk panel of the Black Beauty and provided audio/video surveillance.

whoa whoa whoa, and the other kidnapped celebrity heads? No he didnt. No he absolutely did not. And you know why I remember? Because bender said she asked first

This is a joke right? These 'predictions' are extremely loose, barely comparable, and I have no idea how producers over at Looper allowed this video to be made.
reply

Not really predicting the future, and also virtual reality was out way before futurama and so i find it hard to believe thats future prediction.
