I feel like in this day and age judging a movie by the success of how much it makes as soon as it comes out is kind of dumb cause unless your a kid or a parent youre most likely not gonna show up on a opening weekend, who has the time and money to see a movie as soon as it comes out instead of just waiting for a reasonable time and price to?

Neeson's story may not be the only factor in his movie's poor performance. Ever since Taken 3, he's had a tendency in interviews to wail about America's gun culture and how we need more gun control, etc. Common sense says a large part of his action-hero audience probably own guns, so his candor was probably ill-advised.

I really liked and enjoyed Captive State even the ending i thought was good. It could of added more yes but overall i had a good time watching it and it had my attention the whole movie no problem.

I dodged Gemini Man, Terminator, Cats, SW Rise Of Skywalker, Hellboy and helluva a lot of other flops this year and for that Im grateful. I also missed Once upon a time in Hollywood though.

Just cause they bombed, doesn't mean people still didn't enjoy them. Hell some of my favorite movies have bombed and received negative reviews. Doesn't stop me from loving them any less
