What I love is that he started out playing the Insecure Geek' style character (like his role in the series V, and ended up playing the monster in various Horror movies.
I always entertained an idea that I thought would be the perfect role for him: A 'remake' of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, where he plays both Ichabod Crane, and the spirit of the Headless Horseman who ends up possessing Crane, turning him into a 'Ghost Rider' style anti-hero.
That way he gets to play both the 'insecure geek' and the 'Ultimate Horror' in one role _

Like. are you serious? The name is mentioned in the video many times. And what about checking description? Also mentioned there. The title must be clear to anyone just browsing through YouTube. Not too long, yet being clear about what the content will be. Video is NOT just a title, mainly content. All you, here, should know that. And next thing. Surprisingly, many people won't know the name. I didn't myself, even if I've seen the original movie (and remake too. I learned a lot from the video.

In the 1980's my older brother (by 10 years) got me into see one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, and since then Freddy has periodically haunted my dreams. I absolutely love the movies to this day, but even as an adult being chased around by Freddy in my dreams is terrifying! No other character has done this, and the character would have never been this effective with out Robert playing him. We need another dozen or so Freddy movies!

He is an excellent actor. One of the coolest actors to meet at a convention. At one convention my son and me talked about horrors and movie history with him for over an hour. We got few cool photos with him and didnt have to pay. Later went for drinks. Many forget he was in TV show in V. Should catch an early movie he was in Dont Cry it's Only Thunder.

Robert Englund is one of my all-time favorite iconic actors. One day I would love to meet him and maybe have a photo taken with him and get his autograph. Maybe if he would be so great, get him to leave a voicemail greeting as Fredy Kruger. I know it's only a dream, but it's my dream. lol

I met the man himself at a horror con a few weeks ago. Nicest guy on earth, the line took 8 hours to wrap up, because he had a 5-10 min conversation with everyone in line for an autograph. You can check out the video of him chatting about his role on chuck in my video.

Englund is a goddamn legend. Love that guy. He built the careers for everyone who started new line. He saved a lot of people who were taking huge chances in the movie industry. New line is a big deal now but they werent always like that

That title is laughable. Even up until now, before I got into horror films this year, I knew who he was. Robert Englund could probably go into retirement easily if he wanted to, but I think he loves what he does too much to stop now.
