When The Pawn Stars Got Seriously Cheated carpy1970: This is exactly why (one of the reasons) they give the lowball offers they do, because virtually every item they buy is a risk (either that it's stolen, fake or won't sell for the expected price) and the way to offset that risk is by making higher profit on the other items. You need to remember that they don't need to make profit on that one particular item, but overall.

Expert: This is extremely rare, probably one of a kind. I've never seen anything this remarkable; I would estimate it's value at well over 1, 000, 000.
Rick: The best I can do is 100.
Glad to see that they're getting a dose of their own medicine.

When they told the guys it was fake so they could get it for a cheap price then bring it to see if it was real, thats just telling me that they didnt know if it was fake or real and they were trying to scam the seller so they completely deserved this.

People complain about pawn shop owners but what about the lying customers? For some reason, they think it is OK to defraud pawn shop owners because they should know better. It's still fraud and karma will get you.

These losses are drop in the bucket relative to all of the money they make from their customers and TV. Not to mention, having a big loss could help make more money for the show by sparking more interest.

Austin Chumlee Russell,
This FAT asshole should be in jail. Should have been fired from his job a long time ago. Rick Harrison should never now or in the past tolerated this idiots behavior

reply

And. So Rick takes revenge by ripping off every single person who walks into his shop now? Scumbag. I feel as sorry for him as I do for a casino who has to pay out a winner. Actually less.

I've got Christopher Columbus's boat, signed by Columbus. and I've brought him back from the grave today to verify for it for you.
Best I can do is seven bucks. I'm taking all the risk here.

Done very GOOD to these Pawn shoppers. These dacoits think they will make a fool to public and buy something really expensive at a very low price and will sell it at very expensive rate.
reply

Hate how people are doing this best I can do is shit. Do they not realize that its a pawn shop. If you expect to get 100 for a 100 guitar you are smoking the good stuff. Weebs.
