Falcon. Thanks for another Great Preview Vid, there's some really cool looking games due out this generation, some of which I knew about and have been waiting for, so it's good to see they're nearly ready for release.
Some of them I haven't heard of and now I'm looking forward to them, one example being 'Neo Berlin 2087' that looked pretty cool, hopefully it plays as good as it looked, fingers crossed.
On a slightly different note. Gotta love it when you ad-lib certain bits, they give the videos a bit of heart and personality, especially when you come out with lines like. it looks like they've got the combat More Better somewhat. Great descriptive lines from your 'Vampire Masquerade' preview, I'll use that one myself! Lmao
Just so you know. There's No Malice intent with my comments, they're ALL in jest ok!

Kingdom Come Deliverance, great game, pain the ass realism, but great game. I hope KCD 2 is a successful and great game.
Honestly, I hope Fable makes a good return. The original first was good, and the second was the best, in my opinion, and the third was memorable.
If it doesn't resemble the trilogy, then it probably isn't a Fable game. If the world doesn't change based on choices, if the world and people don't reflect the situation or events going on during the story, if. y character doesn't grow and evolve as I make choices and do things, like eating live chicks or slap every stranger I see, or save everyone and make the world's economy plummet, basically if the game doesn't properly reflect the originals then it is not Fable.
Most of the games shown are something I look forward to.
Ubisoft is dead to me.

Some of these actually look interesting. But I am way up on the fence about avowed. The gameplay in the trailer looks like the game might be fairly laggy, plus there is the 70 dollar for standard edition price tag which these days is basicly the seal of shititude. On the other hand obsidian does fairly good work and this is likley the closest we will get to playing elder scrolls 6 this decade.
Plus I have some steam credit lying around that it looks like I am not going to be using to but civ 7. At least not until the review score suddenly spikes and the game goes on at least 40% sale for all edditions.

I get what Falcon or anyone is saying when they say im hear for this game because Obsidian is making it and they crushed it with fallout NV but recently iv been getting less excited just by a devs companies name being on a project just because a lot of the actual people from that dev team aren't necessarily they same people working on the new projects today. I don't know if thats the case with Obsidian and I hope there new games are great but im not jumping on just cause brand loyalty.

can i just say something even if just half of these games come out this year, that's an INSANE list of games! the potential quality of these games is something you'd expect from a list called 'top25 rpgs of the last decade' but it's just 1 year! 2024 was a mid year squished between 3 of the greatest years for gaming ever. if black myth or astro bot came out just a year earlier or later, i'm not sure people would be even talking about them!

Seems like over the last 10 years or so, the resolution and graphics have increased but the art style and overall quality has tanked big time. Especially in the AAA market. Innovation, creativity, and passion has been replaced with corporatized soulless slop. They fail to understand what made gaming the hugely popular passtime that it is. No amount of graphs, charts, trends or money, will change or make a great game

Outer Worlds was a weird one for me. I remember being excited to play it, I feel like I did really like it when I first played it. If anything I think I was a little let down with just how short it was. I tried to go back to it a month or so ago and the whole time I'm just thinking man, I am really not feeling this game. Hopefully the sequel can reinvigorate my interest.

Outer Worlds was a weird one for me. I remember being excited to play it, I feel like I did really like it when I first played it. I am absolutely looking forward to the Suikoden 1 & 2 remakes/remasters, or whatever they will be. I owned both of them on the PS1 when they came out, and while I don't hold onto them as a collector (sadly for Suikoden 2, these just hit that nostalgic part when most of us were waiting for RPGs to release on the PS1. And I thought they were excellent games.

Yaske is not a historical figure, hes a fictional character in a series of stories with no physical proof that he was, or is based on a real person, thats why ubisoft restructured the story of shadows to make him less prevelant, look into it even slightly, shadows will be ASS regardless of characters, no love in their games anymore just $ driven

The Witcher 2 does not need a remake. The first one definitely, but the second one still holds up. In fact its my favorite in the series to be honest. Personally I think The Witcher is better suited to being a linear game as opposed to open world. Not to say that 3 was bad because of that, but for some reason i just preferred 2's whole package more.

When do we get to stop considering every single third person action rpg hack n slash as a souls like None of the games described as such look like that. They seem much closer to Devil May Cry speed and mechanics (a game which also required precision parrying and brutal difficulty levels when you asked for it)

Anybody else noticing every 2nd game on this list looks the same Like, I get that souls-likes are popular but why are the aesthetics so similar I swear the only games that stand out are the Witcher remake, avowed and vampire the masquerade Cus they don’t look identical to every other game

Oh, look at all the non-gamers going off.
I haven't played Shadows, but Odyssey definitely is more RPG than Elden Ring. And an Elden Ring co-op game is probably going to be even less RPG.
So yeah, there's a good chance Shadows is going to out-RPG a few games on this list.

NEO BERLIN 2087 reminds me of Deus EX in an odd way; maybe it was red eyes as for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Hard pass. Fable soft pass due to not having a choice in creating your character. Alkahest is interested and looking to find out more. Gothic 1 Remake interested

I would love a fully remastered Fable 1-3. Outside Fallout New Vegas and Mass Effect 1-3, there hasn't really been a game where your choices and your morality (good / evil) affect the gameplay like it did in Fable 1-3. They are such good games.

The black guy in Assassin's Creed is NOT based on a historic character!
He is based off a book a guy wrote about a supposedly black Samurai, who has no proof he actually existed, and his only reference is to his own Wiki Page!

Most games you showcased don't even fit as an RPG but Crimson Desert that looks absolutely amazing and is 100% an RPG didn't even make the cut Come on guys. That game is coming in 2025. It should have been featured in this video.
