Very good. The story was concise and thought-provoking--like SF from 50 or 70 years ago. It asks questions (without actually asking them) that make us think about the limits of technology and our place in the universe. I miss stories like this.
The acting was, obviously, of high calibre.
The cinematography caught my attention, without taking me out of the story. I appreciate how it starts out with wider shots as we're introduced to the situation, and then slowly tightens in as the story becomes more personal--eventually being all close-ups of the 3 characters as they deal with the situation. only to pull back as the doctor returns to being clinical.
Kudos to all involved.

I'm a professor of quantum physics and dark matter. OK, now we know that this is a Sci-Finction movie. How many black people work in tech companies as engineers How many black professors of quantum physics exist in the world No one that I know of. Africacentrism is everywhere these days. I mean, a few days ago Netflix made also Hannibal Barca black, after Cleopatra, all the ancient Egyptians, the Vikings, the Romans, British kings and Queens, the ancient British people from 10, 000 years ago, etc. Next month the new Netflix series: The black Japanese king.

yee i always wonder if my atoms are transferred from one place to other in a wire or some radiaton and assemble on other side the same way will that be me i don't thint that will be ME but this movie open another way to think he is right that when we sleep, we shutdown our conciousness so what am i when i wake up next day is that ME strange is there any experiment to test this

Well, problem of is sleep si little death have bothered me for long time. Is I who wake up is I who fell asleep Even if body same is i is same instance of I Such ideas can really make you insomniac, believe me. However science now say your conscience is NOT turned off when you sleep, its just slowed down and stripped of everything except core. You today is probably same you as it was yesterday.

Would have been better extending it by 5 minutes more to complete the transfer to the clone and have him wake up amazed that they infact saved him and put him in a new body and he realising he his still him down to the minute detail. that would show the audience that this scientist figured out how to replicate down to the quantum level.

Wonderful short sci-fi. can't applaud it any better than others have in these comments. ditto that the story is very well done, and acting is spot on. Loved Rutger Hauer's performance as Roy in Blade Runner, and also as Captain Navarre in Lady Hawke. Wish i'd known him as a friend. All my best wishes to all of you aficionados.

Wow that is. amazing, I feel so sad for him. It really makes you think what differentiates us from one another if we ever cloned ourselves. A clone can never be used to transfer our souls over to another, I think--like funerals--it is just reassurance for the living that one does not truly pass away.

Look I enjoyed it, and Rutger Hauer as great as ever. But the storyline is ludicrous. You have a briefing with your surgeon before a major operation. You understand what’s intended and what the complications might be. It’s not a conversation you have on the operating table under anaesthesia.

if we did try to transfer someone into a new body or new mind, what if it's just a brand new mind that has downloaded memories of some now dead guy. and there would be no good way of knowing for sure if the true self is dead or not.
