It sure feels interesting to see this void lieutenant trade tongue with Lothraxion. There were hints in Shadowlands that Lothraxion is still working for Denathrius in some capacity.
Though it feels like some aspects of that theory are contradictory: The Light attacked Revendreth and created the Ember Ward because Denathrius was doing _something_ that looked like anathema to The Light, but what it was, we didn't get many details about---it was implied that he was planning some kind of massive betrayal, but if The Light _knew_ Lothraxion sought to betray them, why is Lothraxion still in the Army of the Light

I want Alleria to act more like someone who has void powers, sure she's in control but you can't just write her like any other character, she has to always be in conflict, sometimes even seeming evil or very cold and in different, there's gotta be conflict, but she seems too sane, if its that easy to control then more people should use the void
it should be nearly impossible to control but with Alleria it doesn't even really seem that hard

Seems the old gods are a physical manifestation of the void in our reality. Cosmic void is their true form in the grand scheme of things. This is about cosmic balance. To much light or void or death or life order or disorder would be the ruin of reality. Azeroth is the nexus of all of those elements. Its why she is the prime world soul. Its why we can wield all those cosmic forces and demonstrate more control than other beings.

A breath of fresh air. These ones look overall pretty good and much MUCH better compared to the Arator storyline. The Light = evil plot still feels too forced, tho. It felt much better when it could be used for evil instead of being inherently evil itself. Also the void beings feel too normal, like a random human painted blue.

Hope the troll stuff is better than this, Arator is even more of a baby than Anduin was. The WIndrunner superiority complex ruins everything it touches, can't let other characters carry the torch, always have to insert a Windrunner. They have to be there to save the day when the non Windrunners fail.

I think its really weak writing how that void creature just sounds almost like any other evil character, I always imagined the void to be completely inhuman, like how the old gods sound, the way Void is written in this expansion, it's like its completely a different thing from The Old Gods

I actually thought that Lothraxion could have been written as more interesting character connected to the Cosmic Forces of Death, given his origins.
Did not expect him to be written like this, a zealot of the Light through and through. It feels like a waste of a good subplot. (IMO)

I must say Umbric knows more than he wants to tell everyone. I bet the Army of Light is actually the real enemy in this, because as long Light exist, there is Shadow (Void) so if you remove the Light the Void cant exists anymore because only both can exists through each other

Dialogue between Aleria and Arathor is so poorly written. He is just young Anduin 2. 0 and she is just very boring. I cringe everytime he calls her mother at the end of a sentence. 3rd graders would have written better dialogue

Decimus teasing Lothraxion in the ending referring to his Nathrezim nature was interesting. We're definetly getting closer and more into the whole cosmic conspiracies thing with these and I'm absolutely up for it.

So, the Nathrezim are back Does that mean we'll see a storyline involving Sire Denathrius later on Hmm, interesting. I wonder which cosmic force he's serving now. Could it still be Death

If lothraxion could be turned to the light, I wouldn’t be surprised if he could go void. They are two sides of the same coin. Just like Muru or the dark star in warlords.

I guess they're in xal'ath's turf and the question remains if they will stop xal'ath and her plans of eternal darkness in the void in silvermoon and in azeroth

I wholeheartedly support Rommath - Umbric should be dealt with before he fcks up even more. And with Veressa's vision from the pre-patch, I'm sure he will.

I really wish The Void & its creatures were more eldritch and terrifying. That or maybe The Old Gods simply set TOO STRONG of a first impression.

i swear bruh if they make Lothraxion a bad guy it'd be the lamest thing ever. Why is Blizzard making the light seem so evil Shallow storytelling

So they turned Light into the Far-Right and Void into Leftists. Typical California brainrot. How tragic how they've destroyed the Lore.

I think Rommath has a big fat crush on Umbric. The erotic tension between them runs thicker than darkness in the Voidstorm.

This looks great. Magister's Terrace and the interactions between Umbric and Rommath feel like old school Warcraft again.
