Varian and Saurfang are still alive but on a higher plane (like untethered space but a different one. They both died to large blasts of energy, which a Karesh lore book says can send beings up to a higher plane, or in between planes, rather than to the shadowlands. We also never saw either of them in the shadowlands (but from the sword they both died wielding.

I really wish Metzen didn't leave after Legion, Anduin was build up to be the next great King, then in BFA he was reduced to. a crybaby in a way and I am really mad at that, really wonder what Metzen would have done with the character if he had stayed, I mean he is fixing him now but if he never left, fixing never would have been needed.

I enjoyed all of this. I am one of the few that prob remember the OG Quest The Missing Diplomat, which is AWESOME and covers 10 levels and many areas to travel; Notice the COLOR of the light when Varian weilds the sword - Orange - and when Anduin weilds it - Yellow. IMO Yellow is Light, Red is Anger and Orange is balanced

I'm hoping they'll fix Anduin in Midnight, make him become a hardened paladin who doesn't whine. I'm also still holding out for Anduin & Taela Fordragon to hook up, but now it's looking like he might go for the annoying Arathi chick with the shield for an arm. Ugh.

In WC 3 everything exploded in Blood Fountains and here the king doesnt even bleed when pierced by blades. Why dont they grow with their audience Why are they afrait to make games for adults
