Elune had several reason to take the power from Tyrande:
1) If Tyrande would have finished Sylvanas there, she would be lost forever to that curse.
2) Sylvanas was of no importance anymore for Zovaals plan and killing her would have changed nothing, even worse.
3) Killing Sylvanas would have left Alliance and Horde with no ally, no one to stand up against Zovaals change of plans and it's not unlikel that Elune could see that in some way, that Sylvanas indeed always said the truth about her goals to want freedom for mortals in the realm of Death.
Without Sylvanas it's likely that Zovaal would just got rid of the alliance and horde NPCs in the raid (AND the players, instead of just going and letting them live to take care of Sylvanas after she went against him. While he was sure that the mortals driven by blind hate would just kill her - and without Uther they likely would have done just that - without Sylvanas there would have been zero chance to stop Zovaal in time. Not only was her knowledge about his plan important, but also to free Anduin and even more to reforge the Helmet of Domination (her part was likely the most important, since she was by far the biggest and strongest victim of Arthas, most distorted by the Frostmourne, put under control of the Helmet than able to break free. And the reforged Helmet was weak enough as it is, any weaker and it would likely not have worked at all (since without Azeroth's intervention, he still would have just dominated the player characters.

I love and appreciate your content, Athelarius, but you surely should stop putting the cutscenes in videos in such a confusing order. I'm seeing repeated cinematics and others in an order I'm not clearly understanding; and I'm possibly not the only one. Nonetheless, you still do a gods' work sharing these with the community, so, keep it up!

I can be the second coming, Blizzard! Just make me a character to just 100% reset the timeline. With all the assets regrettably Cat destruction is basically canon and I would do away with alllllllllllll this slander. I'll give her a proper ending where she does give peace to all she turned and gets a ending/long break.

I've been seeing these videos here. I don't mind spoilers, but something come to mind while watching this. Sylvanas, in the Maw, sending souls onto the Arbiter, has pretty much become what she sought so long ago. She has become a Val'kyr, an ascended undead carrier of souls, much like the Norse Valkyrie.

While there are many people who want to be done with the Windrunner family, Sylvanas is one of the most well implemented characters in all of World of Warcraft. Even being an Alliance main after playing for all of these years, she is still one of my favorites and always will be.

I wish Sylvanas would see Sourfang again I would like to hear the conversations they would have as she is now he probably would be angry with her, but she would not blame him I bet every time she sees that scar on her eye. It reminds her of a true warrior and an old friend.

I absolutely hated when we players were forced to perp-walk her to the Arbitor's area. I've always liked Sylvanas, because she was a victim of circumstance, Although, Aleria is a close second after this expansion.

Didn't they want to pay the Sylvanas voice actor to record new lines so they stitched phrases together The voice acting in the new stuff is horrible.
