John 3: 16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Countries should charge such companies for collecting any such data at such level.
Especially any country which has over 1. 4 billion residents and (on paper) it is a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic with a parliamentary system of government.
_--cough--_ _--cough--_
.
As it is, this is a corrupt group of companies which evades and avoids paying taxes on the riches made out of leeching on people.

I wish they would advertise for these jobs through their careers sites for nerds like me, wanting to do this in our local communities. I'll walk or cycle wherever they want, because what a way to help yourself and your own community and have something to feel proud of. Also, who else immediately went to look at the Faroe Islands in Street view? lol

Recently I saw that they now have sponsored places on maps. When you zoom out, they stay on there.
I reslly like the idea of maps becoming profitable, because that means they can make al those things like maps, streetview and earth better.

I grew up in Mountain View during the time it started and would always be fascinated when one would pull up by my car. It-s pretty cool seeing their technology being tested when you-re out and about in the area.

Street view was how my wife and I decided to go to Iceland for vacation, it was completely unintentional and we were just looking at random places in the world, but when we saw Iceland it was too unworldly not to go.

Oh, so like Dejavu, the movie with Denzel Washington. The -real time in a restaurant- was kind of. too much for me. Are they going to have cameras everywhere, like buzzing around all over the place?

Funny how Germany remains basically uncharted at 2: 00, revealing they were one of the only countries with privacy laws in place. Terrifying history yielding some good results.

It is literally pointless to blur license plates, at least in the US. We as citizens can't -run a plate-. So that number is literally useless to the great majority of people.

Street view is one of my favourite pieces of modern technology, to make most of the developed world virtually accessible to so many is just fantastic.
