Let's say it's absolutely true that out of all the species of mosquitos, only six bite humans. If you could wave a magic wand and all six of those species were gone, what do you think would happen? I think some of the other species would adapt to fill the niche. Malaria would adapt as well. Let's hope it doesn't adapt to another mode of transmission. I'm just sayin'. Life finds a way.

What if we end up killing off humans trying to kill off these mosquitoes. When it sounds great it-s being sold to us! WEF says dogs and cats need to be euthanized in the name of -climate change-. If mosquitoes produce genetically sterile offspring, then you would think that their offspring would not be successful and not procreate at all. I know we-ve already done it and it has been successful following the release. But I would think the sterile form of the mosquitoes would just die off. There have been sterile creatures before that have not caused extensions.

We humans think the world belongs to us. Every species equally deserve to live. It-s up to us all how we adapt. So whoever is thinking mosquitoes aren-t that important to earth, remember that we humans cause more problems to the Earth that all other species combined, so if anyone deserves to be wiped out of the Earth, it-s us.

Im here to comment before watching the video knowing it will try to convince all the viewers that we Need The Mosquitoes. Well F That. We make species extinct everyday. Those that may also be needed for the world. So add the mosquitoes to this list and at least we did something right enough for once.

This video's conclusion is foolish beyond belief. Naive, ignorant, and half-baked science together, to sell the idea that we can play the extintion game and expect no consecuences because -it seems their role in food chain and polination are not that big-.

I think we would have to go by our track record of NECER being successful at introducing an invasive species for our benefit or eradicating a species for our benefit. There-s always unforeseen consequences that make the situation far worse than we can predict.

The problem with getting rid of mosquitoes is that something other would take their place. Some flies are potential candidate to do that and it actually could worsen the situation. On top of that - this change would irreversible.

The reason why I kill musquitoes is not to prevent them from biting me, it's to make the -many trillions of musquitoes- go instinct. (I currently have a kill-streak of atleast 1, 000 musquitoues) DANG IT!

The only problem is there is so many mosquitoes even if we tried we could never eradicate them it would be like trying to get rid of ants completely.
