3: 47 - I think you have your hot and cold mixed up. The video says that warm ocean water is denser than cold water and sinks to the bottom. That is not true. Warm water is LESS dense than cold water and rises to the surface. If cold water floated on top of warm water, all the warm water would be at the bottom of the ocean and hurricanes, which are fueled by warm water, would never happen. -
In fact, this is directly from the NOAA website (where I found the same illustration you used at 3: 40): -

how can we make icebergs needs to a topic, saltwater is contained because of freezing water temperatures, if the water temperature rises the fresh water wipes out the salt water, there has to be freezing cold water containing freshwater for there to be saltwater, the only way to contain freshwater is by freezing it, also can we make enough salt from stones to balance the ocean salt level if fresh water does start wiping out the ocean, another topic is why we arent making water from air farms evverywhere and why is California allowing a drought when they should be telling people to make water from air everywhere

We dont need to take the salt out of the entire ocean, just bulid machines that distill the ocean water into fresh drinkable water by the decaliter. Every deep sea ship should have no less than 2 of them, and more if there are more crew on the vessel. As for supplying the rest of the world, well honestly we make giant factories on each coast with the sole focus of distilling ocean water. Then ship all of it in different directions for little to no cost to the common consumer. It will never happen as long as humans in power use greed to keep their power.

Still looking for the one that explains how the world would be if there were never any salt in the ocean to begin with.
For one, then no animals or algae would instantly die because of it since they would have been adapted for fresh water. However, the climate would probably be very different.

When I was a kid, I thought many of the scenarios on What If would have no drastic consequences on our world. Now that I-m older, I know that the science says otherwise and the scenarios I used to think were harmless are actually really deadly.

The problem with 'What if' is that they consider everything to happen overnight. That is not how world works, it is a slow transition and the ecosystem adopt to that condition very slowly.
