Actually, there isn't a whole lot of credible evidence that she ever actually engaged in piracy, was formally charged with piracy, or was ever even legally considered a pirate. The O'Malleys were officially recognized nobility, meaning they were well within their rights to have a naval force at their exclusive command, and actually legally owned the lands, ports, and some of the waters they controlled. They primarily did their business as a mercantile fleet. Even in this video, the only bit that could be called piracy (attacking other ships at sea) involved Grace invoking a toll to sail through waters that were legally her property, meaning she was well within her rights as a noble to attack anyone trespassing in her waters without paying the toll she legally imposed. Granted, she did only impose said toll in response to Englands ridiculous taxes, but all the rebellion we have record of her doing was perfectly legal. All other acts of violence she committed was in retribution against rivals and others who had struck first against her, and as a noble she could have easily used the fact that she was retaliating against crimes committed against her as a legal defense.
Grace O'Malley might have been a pirate, but if she was she was smart enough to never be formally or legally branded one, and all such allegations are, as far as the actual historical record is concerned, propaganda, slander, and libel from her enemies. However, even if she was a pirate, and badass though she may be, she still doesn't hold a candle to the badassery of Ching Shih (SP) the bloody rose of China, the woman who lead a pirate fleet of around 1500 ships manned by around 18000 men in the South China Sea, routed the Spanish, Portuguese, and British Navies, and ultimately got the the Chinese Empire to surrender (unofficially, of course) to her demands when she walked in, alone, to the palace of the Emperor and signed an agreement that stated she and her followers would only stop harassing the shores and waters of China if her followers could keep every last bit of plunder they had gotten up to that point, every last man under her command would get a full pardon and face no legal reprise for any act committed up to that point, and she be gifted a large plot of land for her to govern, on which she built a gambling hall and brothel, where she lived out the rest of her days getting wealthier and wealthier.

I wonder if she joined forces with a Scottish pirate named Ruari the Turbulent also known as the last of the Vikings and the MacNeills of Barra clan on some pirate raids, as there's a letter by a European Ambasaador d'Eecke to the Queen of Hungary warning her of Irish and Scottish pirate's and said that they would join forces

Kind of hard for anyone from Europe to declare that getting into a ship and off to a far away land to take things that didnt belong to them by the use of force was a crime, all one needed was to have an authorization to do so by a kingdom or empire. You could see how difficult to establish a limit this could be.
