It might sound like science fiction, but if you press on a crystal of sugar, it will actually generate its own electricity. This simple crystal can act like a tiny power source because sugar happens to be piezoelectric. Ashwini Bharathula explains how piezoelectric materials turn mechanical stress, like pressure, sound waves and other vibrations into electricity, and vice versa. Lesson by Ashwini Bharathula

give me the formula for electricity production by hammered so we found that limit so we got more efficient way's to squeeze the electricity from piezoelectricity crystal by using gearbox and hydraulic pressure setup at large scale model
we know the mechanical strength of crystal or materials so when we move the gearbox made by piezoelectricity crystal then we got easy solution forever for electricity
since we don't need battery for small gadgets which uses very low power source like tv remote control and small torch lighted with diodes

I'll tell u what's next. People will use water / mercury, / fluid systems with finely ground piezoelectric crystals. The fluid will be in systems with fluctuating pressure zones for the water-borne, stinking fast piezo-particles to constantly charge the fluid itself. It's the obvs clean future. See 'the Joe cell'for one massive change for civilization. Goodbye petrol. Oh, and nuclear. Cioa

I think a good idea maybe, put a heavy stone on top of the piezoelectric crystal as close as possible to the train track, the train will make the stone move, or also tucked and adjusted in the gap between the pillar and the beam of concrete of some bridge with traffic of cars or trains, that is well tightened; -)

This is the part of my education that was wiped out from seizure activity. So many questions that have been in my mind for a decades are being answered. Thank you! Millions of ideas are springing from this right now i have to research more.

I used to dig for quartz crystals in Arkansas, and one time had a pair of pounders which were too damaged or too cloudy to be worth much so I used this pair to rub together at night to get them to glow! Great fun was had by all.

All cigarette lighters that have a button you push rather than a wheel you turn use this method of pushing on a crystal to get an electric spark to ignite the fuel.

The last name Curie has a reputation for science so I wouldnt be surprised if a Curie suddenly discovered that planets can fly in the 11th dimension or something.

Thanks for the clear explanation and the funny animation as always.
But, please stop torturing a robot by electricity lol
