Whenever a show starts to say that something is found on every continent I always expect to hear exept Antarctica.
However, turns out insects can even live there too; antarctic midges, drain flies and cuteorm moths have all been found there, clinging to live in that frozen hellscape.
Really goes to show just how resilient they are.

Reminds me of an old Awkward Zombie comic where Katie-as-Commander-Shepard liberates the Qunari homeworld after learning that it doesn't have insects, all so she can have a vacation free from mosquitoes.

Insects are my favorite animals and this Ted-Ed highlights some of the reasons why. They just have so many cool adaptations that allow them to look at nature and say Nah, I'd win.

It didn't exactly answer the question of the title though. Is there anyplace without insects Are there any at the South Pole Or any of the ultra remote islands where no humans live

Interesting! One small correction: the lake in California, Mono Lake. Both of the os are pronounced the same. Try saying no, no but with the first letter an m. Mono

May the coming collapse of the AMOC, render homosapiens functionally extinct. Enjoy what you can, while you still can. Pity the generations to come. All hail the Pyrocene.

There aren’t really any free living insects that live in the ocean. Probably due to how insects breathe and competition with crustaceans.

Wonder if anyone has tried putting those triangular hairs on satellites, given how much heat dissipation is a problem in space.
