Well here’s my question, what do I do if the guy who’s in love with me I want to date. But I can’t because my parents don’t believe he would provide for me and be mad at my choice.
When I believe in my heart he would take care of me, and he even says himself he wants to marry me and take care of me, and buy me whatever I want. He doesn’t make so much money, that’s not really a problem for me since I never ask for anything, but he financially takes care of others before himself and winds up living paycheck to paycheck.
There’s something very strong between us for the past 3 years of knowing each other and talking on the phone every day. We live in separate states. He wants to date me, I keep saying idk (and other things like being lost in life) instead of no, I don’t want to hurt him. But my mom keeps reminding me regularly even out of the blue she don’t want me with him. Even though he’s a sweet guy, very loyal and trusting. She says he’s a good guy and very charming. One birthday gift for him she signed me as his sweet girl cuz she couldn’t say sister. We’re family friends not relatives.
And when Valentine’s Day comes she wants to know if he’s sending me anything, she says if he likes u he should send u something. But u don’t want me with him, why should I take any valentine gift or send him one if I’m not really his girlfriend Really it comes down to his financial situation and his crazy mother who takes advantage of him. I understand my parents want me to have someone who will provide for me and not see me struggle.
But every day of my life I feel like I’m living at the expense of my own happiness, it’s hard to be loyal to my guy friend/romantic interest, and my parents.
And among other things that I gave up for everybody. Nobody knows what I really feel, if I reveal, it’s just gonna be me getting screamed at by my parents, and hurting my friend by saying I don’t want to be with him, he had girls flirt with him and lead him on but never date him. Or my dad telling us to stop talking. And my friend knows I feel something for him in my own way. I gave up a lot to make everyone happy, but I’m never happy anymore. I’m 87 pounds because I’m too depressed to eat. I want to have a nice life, and to be happy. The guilt I have kills me, I done things that my family doesn’t know.
But regardless If I tell everybody or not, I’m so afraid it’s all gonna come out and the fight is too much for me, the past year has been depressing and I’m suicidal again; I used to be when I was 17, and I thought I beat it a year or 2 afterwards. Now all these years later it came back. And my friend knows how I am, and he always stays with me when I cry. We’re so close that no topic is off limits, and we’re always there for each other and talking late at night on weekends. We done some crazy things to cheer each other up. Not one day goes by where we don’t say how much we love each other and how much we mean to each other.

I know that probably nobody will see this, but can anybody give some advice I've recently (a month or two ago) developed a huge crush on this guy at my school, and when we first started to interact he started off with playful teasing. He was one of those people who you sort of talked with but never really were friends with, and he's one of my friend's close friends and is (from my view) a nice, friendly extrovert who knew and were friends with a lot of people. He did playful teasing such as trying to turn off my computer whenever the chance (we're also in some classes together, steals my pencils, etc. This also had a result of other people (including his and my friends) teasing us that we liked each other and that we should date. At first, we both strongly denied these accusations, claiming we were just friends, but after a bit, I realized that he started to just stop denying them, and I can't tell whether it's because he just doesn't care anymore or actually likes me enough to not want to deny the teasing from our friends. That was also when I started to develop stronger feelings for him. But an interesting thing that happened was that in one of my classes that he wasn't in, his friend was in it, and after the class ended the friend started talking to me and legit asked me why the guy kept on flirting with me, and then said that his teasing was his way of affection. This caught me off guard, but also had me think about my feelings more srsly. But lately, my feelings have been growing stronger, and he also added me on Snap and more good things have been happening- I'd go more into depth about what happened but I don't want this to turn into an essay. But recently, I feel as though he's been more distant lately so now I'm extremely scared to confess to him maybe on Valentine's Day. Any pieces of advice

I definitely used 3 to my advantage with my boyfriend because I randomly asked him his birthday and his favorite foods and I made sure I took off his birthday with pay even though we didn't see each other until the next day. Well, anyway, I remembered that some of his favorite foods are pizza and popcorn so I made sure to buy a pizza from 7-11 along with having a big bag of popcorn as one of his gifts. I also remembered he loves tigers so I bought him a little tiger plushie along with Tiger Pops and I bought a pizza and soda plushie and even got a pizza shaped balloon that said Love At First Slice on it. I not only bought food but cooked too. I made him Marry Me Chicken Pasta and baked him a lemon blueberry ricotta pound cake that I literally frosted in front of him before I put the candles in and lit them as I sang Happy Birthday and he blew out the candles and made his wish. I cut him and I a slice and he loved the food so much he took the whole cake home.

Knowing that its rare for someone to have feelings for me and I'm always the one to get feels first has actually come around to being reassuring that eventually if I do find the love I desire, it'll be profound because it's a two-way street and we both know it.
That image is far more wonderful than just the reality that today I'm alone but it might not always be that way, long as I keep working on who I am and where I am, taking the journey as it comes and making the best of it.

The real question is: who Who would ever like me I get rejected by almost every girl I'm interested in. And the ones I went after are all taken and not what I imagined. The saddest part about me is: even when I try to improve myself a little, hit the gym, got new clothes, etc, I'm still the same loser nobody wants to be around.
