This one was actually really hard, with the dates i thought it was composers like Colerisge-Taylor (born in 1875 so pretty off), Poulenc (date: 1899-1963 so pretty close) and Kurt Weill (dates: 1900-1950 so very close) but with all the clues i was guessing Weill more than Poulenc, but it happened that i didn't know about Gerald Finzi as a composer so couldn't really guess it. Even with that thanks for sharing with us a less know composer, that's always good to learn about classical music composer.
After checking his Wikiperdia page i learned a lot of things about him. He met a lot of pretty known musician like Charles Villiers Stanford, Edmund Rubbra, Sir Adrian Boult, and even Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams (one of my favourite composer) he published the compositions of William Boyce (baroque english composer) and he was really into literature, poetry and philosophy so we can see that he really had an artist soul.
Ps: he was an english composer that's why he met a lot of other english composers and his story is pretty interesting i recommand checking it out

I didn't get even 40... it couldn't be helped since I didn't know anything but the name of the composer. But I enjoyed this quiz much more than the last one which was too easy. I think it's a pretty good way to interest people in the composer.
