The British-French rivalry is the most chad rivalry in history it’s the one that had ripples effects all over the world from North America in giving birth to the USA to Canada, the Caribbean, half of Africa divided by Britain and France, the Middle East carved up by Britain and France, India fought between Britain and France with the British winning in the battle of Plassey driving the French out of India, Southeast Asia, Malaysia, Burma, French Indochina and the pacific. No other rivalry has had so much influence in world history

I think the video skipped over WHY Britain was so successful.
A significant advantage Britain had over France was their banking system. Despite having a lower population than France, they were able to borrow more which allowed them to punch above their weight.
Also, unlike most other empires, Britain preferred to rule with a sort of benign neglect.
Why spend manpower and resources managing territory when you can get others to do it for you.

The BritishFrench rivalry was the most chad rivalry in history, it literally shaped the modern world. From giving birth to the USA and Canada in North America, to both controlling the Caribbean, fighting for control of India, controlling 80% of Africa, carving up the Middle East and to the Pacific, no other rivalry had ripples this global

One thing that is often overlooked when discussing the British Empire is that they used soldiers from all over the empire and not just Britain

You skipped the part where England gave Belgium the right to conquer Congo and establish slavery and extermination there.
