This week, Adriene and Jacob teach you about macroeconomics. This is the stuff of big picture economics, and the major movers in the economy. Like taxes and monetary policy and inflation and policy. We need this stuff, because if you don't have a big picture of the economy, crashes and panics are more likely. Of course, economics is extremely complex and unpredictable. Today we'll talk about GDP as a measure of a country's economic health, the basics of economic analysis, and even a little about full employment, unemployment

Isn't 9: 25 wrong? It says -business costs increase-, however thanks to inflation business costs actually decrease relative to the value the company exports (if it exports of course. For example US econ right now might suffer because companies will have to pay their workers in dollar but get their profits in foreign currencies (in the places where they sell products.

The Guy is talking toooooooo fast. The explanation is sooo good that even a 12yr old can understand. But even a 24yr old cant catch up the speed.

Wait no, he was going somewhere with that lower taxes theoretically cause the GDP to go up. Adriene shouldn't have interrupted him.
