Okay, If reaction rates can be determined experimentally, and they are reliable, that means there is a kinematic principle that must be guiding them.
Any ideas?
Maybe it's the geometry of the bonds that are formed, like we learned about in other videos. Maybe a combination of activation energy + valence geometry?
Does anyone know of any good tables of well quantified chemical reactions and their rates? Maybe we can combine this with table of chemical bonds and their geometries.

I use my ability to keep up with Hank as a measure of how much i actually know chemistry and after every vid I realise that I dont know chemistry as much as I think I know chemsitry XD
Edit: I 've realised that i do infact know chemistry, i just need to pay attention XD
