Thank you so much for making this video, very informative! I’m surrounded by a mix of ppl that are virgins and non-virgins and I always thought why does this one concept matter so much to them when it doesn’t to me I love the way you explained it which was it’s just a script that we were given since we were young. I’ve been waiting for a while for someone to talk about it like this

Thank you for this topic. I'm still a 'virgin' queasy about seggs so my perception of virginity relies on my nonexistent experience of the process first hand. When I learnt I was queer the idea of virginity felt so weird to me, and a friend in junior secondary said that because I was see wearing a singlet I lost my virginity that instant, which confused and amused me XD

I thought this episode was gonna be about how the dichotomy of virginity is a social construct, and where and how we draw the line. That would have been fine I guess, but the focus on scripts and cultural expectations was much more interesting, and for sure more valuable and helpful information!

This series is awesome. I'm way out of the age range for your target audience but even I'm learning new things. I can't even tell you the difference you're likely making to so many lives. How different my life would have been had I had this series when I was a young person. Thank you.

Shan is crushing it. Such good energy! Clearly cares a lot, but finds a great balance between being lighthearted and giving the topics the weight/attention they deserve.

I prefer to say I gave my virginity to so and so rather than So and so took my virginity. I got this from Dr. Lindsey Doe
