As always, an Amazing video and Jake teaches us along the way with whatever he is building. It fascinates me at your knowledge Jake and teaching your 2 year old right alongside you makes my Soul So Incredibly Happy. Fox is not only learning different languages and is beginning to understand them and speak those languages. My Mind Is Blown! I loved it when Fox slapped the mosquito off her arm and still had the remnants of the squito and looks at Nicole like, What am i supposed to do with this And she calmly says, Wipe it on your shirt So he does, and problem solved. Jake and Nicole, you are amazing human beings with Beautiful Souls and I am so proud of you both as parents. These children are growing up in the best kind of life, out in nature away from TV and learning by watching their parents. Well Done Jake and Nicole, You are both Amazing

The more I look at River the more I think she looks like Fox! I think River has a pure soul and will grow up into a wonderful young girl/lady/woman! I still haven't seen much of Willow and her personality yet! So hard to tell! But if she is anything like River you are both blessed! Even though they are identical twins their personalities might not be so similar! It depends! It's hard to believe its been 4 months already! So enjoy every precious moment while you can cause time will go by so fast and before you know it they will all be grown up! Keep up the hard work! Cheers!

your out of the bricks u used before, i think those will work, they look like fire bricks with the holes in them, there sure not man made, cut off bigger ones for sure, i liked your first oven, i saw a guy, dont no what country, but he built one of these ovens right out in a field, i was amazed, it was the same kind. Nicolle is looking great. your feeding her good. all this fruit will keep you guys healthy. dark at 5 now here in Wv. counting the days till spring, haa stay well all

Since its Lava Rock it will take the hot and cold greatly. Lava Rocks have been used for centuries for ovens. You have to think as it like this. When lava is created its molting hot yet in time the lava stops flowing and cools off. Then it happens over and over creating Mountains of lava. Today ppl use it in saunas for what you shown as the steam effect. So yes it can be heated and cooled without exploding. So it will make a great oven and last for many centuries. Kudos to you!

I'm not sure what the point is of using the glass bottles. voids like that are insulators. By reducing the mass of the warmed area you're reducing the heat retained, and it cools off faster. same with pumice bricks. pumice is used in very lightweight concrete applications because it is a low density aggregate. in college we used it to make concrete canoes for an ASCE competition. Lower mass, means lower heat energy retention.

whee have the black shiffer stone and looks like chiny cole it can hold heat for houers. a big fire stove of this material inhouse, one hour of fire wood keeps a cabin wharm 12 hours. you can even powder it in containers as bottles. Some dude even install waterpipes thrue the stove to heat whater at the same time.

Hi guys. This is meant as a kind warning. Lava rock is never used by the Sth Pacific Islanders when cooking in the ground. They always use river boulders because they don't hold smoke which taints the food they cook. That's the only problem that I would think of. But all the best with it.

may i point out that the pores of the brick will hold on to the matter of backed goods and turn coal black, when you scrape and brush the surface > the holes would have to be vacuumed
