You guys ever think about how someone poured their heart and soul into this car and for a while it was probably absolutely mint rolling around everywhere, then one day an aggressive bump took a chunk out of something, something just broke, or maybe it changed owners and the new one didn't care as much, and that just started a downwards spiral to get to this point? I mean I realize things decay over time naturally, but man. These old insane showcars are such cool relics. Open up an old Super Street or something similar and there are hundreds of them in the pages. I'm sure many of them are toast at this point, and that many peoples first thought is complete revulsion, but its also cool to see them get scooped up and have some more love put into them.

5efe is 1. 5 and starlet turbo motor is 4efte 1. 3 turbo, it's common enough though to use a 5efe block and 4efte manifold and head and make a 1. 5 turbo engine that revs to 8k

Since you already think it's like an MR2 with gullwing doors it sounds like it's the perfect candidate for an MR conversion to correct wheel drive

Marty is right that's a Celica or Celica-like vent on the bonnet. The little tunel/vent it's to cool down the timing belt, etc on the GT four models.

This'll be. a very interesting car. I just wish it wasn't front wheel drive. Theyre so much less fun than AWD or RWD.
