Why would anybody want one of these hideous monstrosities. All that heavy stainless steel is going to add a lot of weight to what will already be a heavy EV. It makes much more sense to use aluminium for body panels, which at least have the benefit of being relatively light. Stainless steel is anything but.
Of course aluminium is not exactly bullet proof, but then you do have to wonder what sort of society it is that has to obsess about that particular characteristic of a car. This seems like it's heading into a dystopia.

It's amazing how big American cars are and how unpractical they really are. At least for my context. I can already tow with a 5k secondary car. To me a trailer seems more practical for sand, a van seems more practical for anything that shouldn't get wet or stolen. Around me for hundreds of kilometers there aren't any unpaved roads that you really need to get an off-roader for. Yeah, it's not for me.
If I were to get a larger vehicle, it'd be a van to convert to a mobile remote office/RV.

Matt makes it always look fun! But, I'm not a fan of the Cybertruck. The stainless steel reminds me too much of the Deloreans, and look what happened to them! Too much hype, and the product looks like it was made out of Meccano bricks! And the build issues will come in thick and fast as they are known for it! Look at todays models, the S, the Y, etc. It'll be a tough sell, as more and more people will start to see that it's all hyperbole!

Cybertruck is such a disappointment, I don't know what the hype is about. It's not futuristic, It's basic. Something a 5 year old can draw, has no design philosophy. And bulletproof? What do you need bulletproofing for? Another easy wat out to simplify design by putting on steel plates and no curves.

Most ugly vehicle I have ever seen. When i saw it announced years ago i honestly thought it was a joke. Not a joke. Here it is. . It also looks like from introduction to now that they made the cab smaller. There heads where to close to the ceiling. All i can do is shake my head. Just no

That abomination is such a joke. Look how filthy it looks even in an unveiling event. And imagine if you get a ding or scratch - no body repair for you. I wonder if the panels are even replaceable and what it would cost to do. Or if you live near the sea and get nasty salt pockmarks on it.

0: 42 That tech is built into Teslas since a few years now.
What is missing is the software.
And i think we will never get Matrix functionality because they removed the matrix lights from the Model 3 Highland. Only normals LED Reflectors, no matrix projectors.

I love all the comments on here talking about how Matt was so brave and entertaining. The guy was drunk. Where I live, we respect other peoples property, and when it says don t touch, we don t touch. If you do touch you ll get thrown out and maybe a little extra.

Matt is the only reviewer who would actually mess around with the car like we would in a dealership. I remember when I got kicked out of the Rolls Royce shop in Shanghai for ejecting the umbrella and opening it in front of a girl I was trying to impress

They should have used more talented fabricators or sheet metal thats essier to weld and form angles. No excuse for those body panel gaps or how hideous the overall design is. Also there's no crumple zones during crash test with stainless steel.

Im sorry but telsas design in my opinion is the complete opposite to se3y! They all look like white goods, the truck thing looks like something your find in the back of a restaurant. better open the door and get the lettice leaf out.

Few points. The glass roof is curved slightly so the center seat gets more headroom. The front winscreen is curved and so is the hood/bonnet. The doors also have a slight curve to the larger portion of the panel. All improve strength

Thank you Matt,
This is basically the best short but informative Cybertruck video I've watched so far, no blowing of smoke just you saying it as it is.
But Matt, you could have said hello to Ellie at video timeline 14: 06

I love Matt's style of reviewing and checking cars (which companies hate because he can show the full truth about the car, but this car is electronic garbage, an invention for people who have too much money, nothing more

The problem in my brain is, this looked cool in 2019/2020. But now the fact that we have kind of forgotten about it. The craze about the new funky ev truck the novelty has kind of lost In my mind.

Delorean briefly offered a version of their stainless steel car that was gold plated. So I won't be surprised if we see people plating these in various metals as well, e. g. copper or gold.

Disgusting the high prices. No head up display. No drivers display. It's not coming to many markets like the uk. I'm really impressive stuff here though in great video mat.

The stainless steel body panels makes it seem like the long lost cousin of the DMC-12. To be fair, the only other car I know of that used stainless steel body panels.
