3: 30 in and already just going to mention that seeing as they have ALL had different previous lives the condition of their engines could also be vastly different and as such doesn't lend much credibility to whatever the outcome is. had they all been brand new engines that were correctly broken in and then had this happen to them the results could be completely different. probably going to be a fun video to watch regardless though

Depends where did u find the cars and who drove them. I know its not that serious but take 3 new engines and test them, to be more precise u should destroy couple of them to be sure.
This test is just about this 3 engines in this 3 used cars, nothing else. Audi is front wheel drive so its engine needed way more power for this test, plus engine mounts were f up from the start of test.

i'ts a shame they used a E46 with the shitty N-coded 4 cilinder engine. The 6 cilinders are way better. My previous E46 had 396, 000km on the clock, original engine and trans. Someone totaled my car, that is the only reason i don't have that car anymore. My current E46 is also a fun machine to drive, the engine has a low mileage of 246. 000km, with many more km's to go.

It hurts the heart when we see such scenes. The engineers worked hard and persevered to produce these cars to help us in our lives, and you break them carelessly. In my country, I cannot buy such cars, even though they are in a miserable condition for you. Frankly, this is sad. I hope you respect the feelings of others.

Not proper test. Before doing it you should check oil and coolant (BMW was low or without coolant and maybe without oil also. Check cars and then start test. That cars after 20 years and without coolant are better then new same model cars. Next, check new bmw, audi and merc straight from the dealership.

surprised the N42/46 held up that long, from mine and many others experience its one of the worst engines bmw has made, and they hate high revs. the 6cyl models love revs but the 4cyl especially the N series hate redline
