Eric, I owned and drove a '99 Civic LX for 16 yrs as my primary car, 237k on it when I traded up. If it had been an automatic I'd probably still be driving it but the clutch pedal was wearing out my old left leg. Never had any serious issues with it. I really don't think they make them like they used to. My brother bought a 2012 Honda Civic and it was trash IMO comparatively speaking.
Oops, sorry, didn't realize that was your Civic. I'm sure it's a very nice car. ;-)

Its kind of made me a basket case theres so many part That has been thrown at us thing I think the timing is off when the motor was built at the factory 10, 000 miles ago The dealer cant even find out whats wrong with itHit me up let me know we would make a special trip from Illinois to let you look at it its been a painLet me know

Its been around the world got a brand new motor New harmonic bouncer good role model ignition it started with the motor got put in a 10, 000 miles on it no vacuum leaks start at one minute really good in the morning but I run it fits in between 140 and 188 long Cranks

You did a compression test on it 2/18.
You did a leakdown test on 2/21.
On 3/09 you replaced the key fob.

Thanks Misses O for the bravery and for hanging that Ratchet, the water jackets getting air definitely not healthy for all engine so tell the customer the bad news that radiators aren't suppose to receive compressionary excitement from head gasket! ; )

Quick tip to find compression stroke. put a balloon ontop of the hose that's in the plug well. When it's the compression stroke it will inflate
