Always remember that they assembly on of these every 45 seconds! I mean a completed light-vehicle exits the Final Assembly Line every 45 seconds. That means the installation of each sub-component has to be done in 45 seconds. I worked on a Final Assembly Line for a year. It took six stations, two people on each side, to complete the installation of the dashboard. They had an overhead powered hoist to insert the dash. 12 people 0. 75 minutes = 1 person 9 minutes. Indeed this is a gravy job.

another idea put one of your? go pros? down where your taking apart stuff so you can look at it afterwards to (for a visual record)see in what order you took it apart when you come back to it days later just a thought. i take pictures with my olllld digital camera so i know how i did it in case i forget a step/s. and to also have picture files of each project i do. your video would act as a catlogue of this. blahblahblah means ill shut up now. : )

Cool camera details. Owner should have requested the condenser fan be replaced since you did all the work to get it on the ready and figure out the problem. I would have wanted it done so that the Air and Heat system was 100% done when I picked up the car and paid the, likely big, repair bill. Next the customer should head over to the detail shop and have the pig cleaned up some.

Easy he said! My idea and Eric's idea of easy just aren't the same! I hope my 2006 Dodge 2500 doesn't have any evaporator or heater core problems! Lordy! I already had the blender door break that brings in fresh air. I just drug that broken door out and use the heater without it!
Eric makes hard work look easy, that is for sure! Way to go Bud!

Eric, always appreciate you letting us know what is going on. I started looking for a part III and didn't see one so was starting to feel disappointed I wasn't going to know what happened with the A/C etc. But you came back at the end of video and cleared all that up for us. Thanx. I feel so much better now. ;-)

i did a heater core on a ford escort last summer, not as bad as it sounds, tore it a part one day, put it back the next, lots of things to unplug to remove the dash, didnt take the dash completely out, just move it back far enough to get to the heater core, lay steering column on the seat, poor engineering

Just me. But I would have vacuumed the truck and detail the dash for the customer. I know its a work truck, but in my experience 15 mins of clean time makes the customer feel special and more likely to return. Like you said in your abs calarodo video, the little stuff goes along way

I did this on a 2001 dodge Dakota. 10 hours on a Saturday and 4 hours on sunday to complete. Saved myself 1200, but what a job. You make it seem so easy. Good job sir.
