I really like the design. I understand it's easier to get in and out of than any previous Morgan and a little bit roomier inside. Pity it's not offered with a manual but I understand the reasons why. Still that BMW shifter is not in keeping with the rest of the car and destroys the vibe somewhat. At least you get the Plus Four with a manual, but I've heard something like 80% of test drives are taken in a manual while 80% of sales are automatics, which is very interesting, indeed.
I spec'd up a Supersport and it came out at circa 126k, and I avoided the expensive wheels and several other expensive options, too. If you go mad with the options you'll probably reach 140k. 126k is the same as my spec for a base 911 992. 2 Cab without special paint or interior options, which would push closer to 140k. Anyway, price-wise it is for sure a 100% competitor against the 911 for your personal luxury sports convertible spot in the garage. Of course, some people -- more people than ever before -- will avoid making a choice and simply have both a 911 and a Supersport, but I'm sure the vast majority of such people will also have a Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, and a Lamborghini in the garage, and probably also have a Maserati GranTurismo/Cabrio Folgore on order.
Anyway, IMO this is a vast improvement over the Plus Six. For me, there was always something not quite right about the Plus Six, although I struggle to articulate what exactly. Whatever it is, it seems reflected in Plus Six residuals compared with Plus Four. Still, my spec for a Plus Six was 97k in 2022, so the Supersport represents a significant price hike. A fully spec'd up Plus Four in 2025 is 88k for me, and it's manual. Still, this is way cooler, IMO, and if I was ready to pull the trigger I think I'd be trying to spec a Supersport with as few options as possible. Would still be more than 20k more expensive than a fully-loaded Plus Four, which is a chunk of change I could arguably put to better use. Not sure I could justify 40k more for the Supersport, but I think I could justify 20k. And the reality is that while Porsche has good residuals, often stated as the best in the business, the fact is that Morgan residuals are even better, and hopefully the Supersport's residuals will be better than those of the Plus Six, which are still good, just not as good as they are for Plus Four and others.

GT cars have become a misnomer in the modern age. In the past, this would have been classified as one. Pretty much all modern sports cars are perfectly acceptable long distance cruisers on motorways and autoroutes including this one. As a daily driver, it has all the required creature comforts. A 3 car garage. He's pandering to the richest 0. 1% so probably surplus information for 99. 9% of us! . IMO!

The design is absolutely spot on now. The steering wheel actually fits the ambiance of the cabin and design of the car as a whole. it was an eyesore before. There is a rear drive by shot which reminded me of an original Citroen DS from the back. low sloping boot line and general shape of the area where the tail lights are. Superb! Toyed with the idea of a Morgan plus six before. Hope they do well with it!

Morgan's have (almost) always been a flex-not-flex car for boys - boys of various ages.
Even including the very first 8 and various versions of the Aero, this might be the first thoroughly modern, thoroughly rapid Morgan.
The look has slipped over recent times into the retro-cute Fiat 500 or New Beetle territory, but one might argue that Morgan invented that concept.

Looks stunning, apart from all those matte black parts, which are awful - the bumpers, grille, cowl, doors, wheels, steering wheel. I don't know what they're actually made of, but they look like the very cheapest kind of plastic. The back end is a vast improvement over the previous Aero Supersport, and the headlights are better too.

I am that Range Rover 911 two-car garage guy. For me, it wouldn't take the 911's spot, but it could occupy a third spot, not least because my wife is a big Morgan fan. However, I can also fully see that for some people it could occupy their second spot, but for most it would be replacing something other than a 911.

I guess we will just have to drive an old school Morgan if we want to have a manual gearbox experience. I’m sure Morgan has a reason for not offering a manual gearbox with the B58 six cylinder engine, because I believe it is available in the four cylinder versions. What a shame.

Richard Hammond likes Morgans. I've seen him drive one in a show he presented called BBC - Richard Hammond and the Holy Grail. It was stunning to see that Morgan drive along the picturesque landscapes of England with just mmmm JUST JUST MMMMMMMMMMMM. gonna go rub one out

A really enjoyable and straightforward review. The car itself is wonderful. If I had the means I’d throw away the engine and gearbox and put in a 3. 4 straight 6 from Alpina for a normally aspirated 300 bhp straight 6 with a manual box. But that’s just me

So.
While our leaders, both of industry and politics, force us to drive shitty electric cars to save Greta's penguins, they themselves are rather proud to spank over a hundred grand on a pointless oil burner.
Absolutely hilarious.

I find the car novel but extremely dated I think a 2009 engineering design e89 BMW Z4 which had a dual clutch gearbox an equal nice car to own today and very comparable to this in 2025. Not as fast but that’s not why you buy them.

1: 59: It’s got removable doors
3: 03 - It only weighs 1, 175 kilos - with an aluminium chassis! My 8 weighs 975kg. That’s progress
The reporting goes downhill from there.
Oh dear - quality journalism, not!

Why would you buy that over a much more affordable Caterham To think it's anything like a 911 is a bad joke. It's really just an overpriced Caterham that isn't as good at being a sports car as a Caterham.

Wheels are a copy of the Lamborghini Jalpa of the 1980s! Also unforgiveable without a manual gear change for what is a fun car or second car and a manual gives a driver more control! Rear looks like a Marcos.

What an earth is the point of Morgan in 2025 Such a bizarre company could only be English I guess I should celebrate but just like Bristol cars to meet Morgan are more of a joke than a car company.

The back end is a disaster in design terms. And if optioned up, it's over 120k! No, there's better cars for the same or less money. You'd want to really want one, badly or be blinded by the name!

I could justify buying this a lot more easily than pretty much anything from Porsche or Lamborghini. It has a rightness to it that I think you would enjoy without buyers remorse.

It looks great from the front, but the rear is much less successful, the proportions are just a bit 'off' and it appears less well resolved in design terms from that aspect.

Can't say it does anything for me and I fully appreciate that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I really don't like the rear while I find the interior just bland.
