If honda think they are gonna get away with these decisions this time, they can think again.
Ho da is not listening and soo. They will fade away and lose customers. Honda was known for style and practicality but now they are boring and lack basic fundamentals.
The new pilot back lights are the worst even seen for a while. You think that crab claw from the last gen of hi das would teach them a lesson, but no they just got worse. The new accord is a total eyesore that lavks curves and details like the previous 2 generations. I think honda is trying to copy toyota with the big ugly grills, but for whatever reason they should reconsider and go back to making small neat grills that pops.
The last odyssey with those seams down the sides is very ugly especially the top one that goes all the way to the back. The back bumper tail from off the ground look ackward and the same ugly crab claw back lights just didn't work.
I wanna uogrdae from my 2014 odyssey but have skipped the latest odyssey because I can't stand to look at it. Now I heard they are not redesigning the odyssey but doing small changes which makes me so mad at hinda. I think I will have to change from the Honda odyssey and think Pacifica.

It s not boring. The lack of style is what makes them safe and very pragmatic. It s like the bmw 3 series of the segment where it does everything very well. Performance is good, handling is one notch behind the cx5 but way ahead of the rav4, build quality is sone of the best in the segment, cargo space and legroom are top of the class, overall refinement is top of the class, it has good features and tech, and it has a very high degree of polish as we d come to expect from Honda. That s one of the reasons why Hondas like the civic accord CRV are top of the class in comparison tests

Such a disappointing package by Honda.
I have a 3rd gen Honda with a panoramic roof, heated seats 18-inch wheels and it feels like a better proposition in so many ways. That's sad.
Even the gauge cluster is half analog.
No 360 camera - just like my 3rd gen.
A new can, mainly when talking about the TOP TRIM level, should offer the same or more than the previous generation, not only regarding engines and safety.

It s OK in a market where Yugo could probably come back on the market with an SUV/CUV and it would probably sell like hotcakes. Honda is slowly becoming the 80 a GM of the 2000 s. Relying on people buying then because of their prior reputation rather than tangibly improving anything. They ve rested on their laurels for multiple vehicle generations now. It s just accelerated with the current crop.

Crash tests have only recently tested rear seat belts. I would think the roof mounted approach would be better, especially for taller people. It the belt comes out of the seat back and it has to go up then over the passenger's shoulder that would be a real problem in a big impact. And I think the new tests for back seat focus on child size passengers not adults so they may not high light the problem.

Stop it with the heavy big wheel love. Tall sidewall tires give a much better ride without spongy springing and better fuel economy too. Pop a tire and bend a couple wheels and you ll wish you had 17s instead of 20s. The roads are deteriorating everywhere and avoiding that pothole or construction cavity is almost impossible. And stop it with black wheels too.

That is not OK,
taking away basic features that were available in previous gen is a big L to buyers from Honda.
2023 Hondas are a joke, our 2021 Pilot Ex-L was nicely loaded, new one don't even have a sunroof at 41K. Not even top HR-V and civic gets rear ac vents, fog lights are gone, what is Honda thinking?

It's not ok, if they're trying to keep up with Toyota's sales
Before the last CRV was redesigned, CRV was the #1 SUV in America.
Now, they are a distant second, and have been for 3-4 years.
This won't change things for Honda. ALL their new designs are lame, boring and generic.

Alex, I wonder when you you post the length of the different vehicles you could put the actual measurement next to the vehicle name.
The scale is somewhat useful but I would really like to see measurements. Thanks.

That just doesn't seem very nice for an over 40, 000 car. It's like they're charging with the top models in segment but they look really budget on the inside. Pilot is not even worth considering vs palisade.

Brian, When is the CR-V's chief rival RAV4 going to 'break the new ground' of a back seat suitable for rear-facing child seats and full-sized adults? Good luck at KBB

If the hybrid system was better, I wouldn't have a problem with the top trims being hybrid only, but they really don't compete with the Rav4 hybrid.

I test drove the ex vs a Cx-50 preferred plus, the CX-50 was miles better in responsiveness and overall fit and finish. The Honda felt sterile
