I loathe Kia put in that infernal dual-purpose capacitive touch area to control both the infotainment and HVAC. It was a dumb idea on the EV6.
Can't tell in the video - did they at least open up a storage area underneath the center console like the Sienna Huge wasted space on the pre-refresh models with that.

The looks are growing on me - super glad they seem to have moved the turn-signals off the bumper (I hope it's like that on all trims rather than the high-end ones. I don't care for the haptic feedback buttons. I have yet to hear someone say they want those over physical controls.
However, I have an order in for a long awaited Sienna hybrid, our first new car so I'm hoping we'll have it for the next 20 years haha. My family and I rented one for a week long trip to FL and it was GREAT. We hit some stop and go from Savannah to Raleigh on the way home and somehow averaged 40 mpg (per the car comp and the tripometer/gallons pumped. I was shocked considering we had the thing PACKED.
I grew up with a Plymouth Grand Voyager in Connecticut. We had snow storms every winter but the roads were plowed fairly well. All we needed were snow tires and some careful driving, never got stuck anywhere and there were lots of hills and windy New England roads (close to the Berkshires. I'm seeing a ton of comments demanding AWD, but with my experience it's not necessary. Turn off the TC and don't floor it and you'll be fine w/ some good snow tires.

Looks like you had to squeeze in the second row seats. Also it looked kind of tight in the drivers seat. The attraction of minivans is the feeling of roominess. I didn't get that feeling looking at you get into the various parts of the inside of the van. If Kia doesn't get close to real life MPG's like Sienna it will be a no sale to a lot of people. just for Toyota's reputation for reliability like this current Sienna has shown.

I’ve always been baffled that the (in my opinion excellent looking and very practical) Carnival didn’t come with a hybrid power train, so I’m glad to see it! Interesting to see if the 1. 6L hybrid has enough guts when you guys get a chance to drive it, expected the 2. 5L hybrid.
A plug in hybrid option would also be great in one of these, but glad to see the hybrid! Also love the amber lights

Can’t wait to test drive this hybrid van. I drove the 2023 Lexus RX350h last year, which has the same powertrain as the Sienna hybrid, and there’s a drone at certain RPM that is absolutely unacceptable in a 60k vehicle. I think the interior of this hybrid looks just as nice as the Lexus and it’s definitely in the my short list of vehicles that I’m considering buying this year

I think automakers should completely ditch the integrated displays in the rear seats. There’s no arguing that an iPad will ALWAYS be better than these screens, except maybe if the kid is too young to hold an iPad

1. 6 L turbo hybrid is horrible, built in tablets horrible ( use your own tablet with WiFi ) doesn't seem any bigger than new SUVs, no AWD and no PRICE

How reliable is their hybrid powertrain
Curious as to why Kia/Hyundai goes with a small turbo. Wouldn’t Toyota’s larger NA hybrid system be more reliable

I really likeKia’s but isn’t this just a Kia Suburban or Tahoe. But I would get it over any General Motors product and I’m waiting for the four row.

It kinda looks like a recent Ford or Chevy SUV until I saw the siding side doors. Kia isn't for me, Honda and Toyota minivan or otherwise.

That van is white Looks grayish. Light colored interiors in a minivan. Lol Have fun cleaning that and the slabs of piano gloss plastic.

Kia was good about having different takes on the tiger nose design for their model line. The new Carnival and Sorento look too similar.
