I think Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler all need something lol. They are all hollowed husks of brands.
Edit: I disgaree with the headlight statement. I just see more nonsense that can break. Lots of these brands cant even make a engine work properly after so many years. Its a pipe dream thinking motors in their headlights could work. Plus those led lights have been out for over a deacde now. Some are starting to fail and the entire assembly needs to be replaced. Heard it can cost 1000 on the extreme end. The economy is in the gutter. Dont need to add even more costs to consumers.

Really a pretty looking vehicle in terms of exterior styling and wheels; seating options aren't the best and lots of plastic on the interior. When you say miles per gallon assuming you're converting the liters to US Gallon or Imperial Gallon?

Alex, Thanks for taking us along for the trip. I believe Europe's Corolla Touring Sports with the 1. 8 powertrain would have raised your mpg to something like 50 while providing comparable cargo and passenger space as well as a smoother ride.

It's a good-looking CUV. or is it a hatchback? Hard to tell with some of these vehicles nowadays. Europe gets so many more, and in my opinion, better, small vehicles than we do in the USA. You brought your camera person on a family vacation?

I think this powertrain is a solid bet for the next gen Jeep Compass. There isn t likely to be a next gen Cherokee, but Compass will move up in size a bit to fill the space

Would definitely be low hanging fruit for them to bring to the US, and probably should have been what they brought instead of the one that Alfa designed for the Tonale.

I love that European cars don t have orange lights near the headlights. We need to remove that from our laws US. The orange color is just awful on many car colors.

I can see a price of 38. 390 incl tax, brand new, from an official German Opel dealer. Msrp is 59. 850 incl tax and some extras, but nobody will ever pay this

That ICE still looks like it's very related to the Mini N14/N18 engine. Hopefully they've managed to fix the issues known to plague older Mini's by now.

I averaged 44MPG in the Cupra Formentor I rented when I was there in October. Mostly highway driving but plenty of hills and curved roads.
