I think I finally get to understand the people of Hong Kong. They don't like to be treated as Chinese. They think they are white or westerners even though they speak Cantonese they don't see themselves as Cantonese. For them to be ruled by the Chinese the yellow is an insult. Like white nationalists and supremacists as they really are as the people of Hong Kong, a former British crown colony. They think they are British or upper class. The Chinese are not good enough to govern the white people as they think they really are. Their whole beliefs system and identity are false. They are self important and like to lay down rules for you to follow. They are white worshipping. They think they are equals of the Americans or British. They don't or most of them don't identify themselves as Chinese. They are like Chinese hating. Their self worth will be less half if they are called Chinese. They are in fact Cantonese if not Chinese.

Welcome to Hong Kong It was a nice quick intro of The town. Id say a lot of the food do not classify as street food since they are more like restaurants has outdoor seatings. And that razor clam is really DA BOMB A tip to travel around in HK for tourists is to get one of the tourist Octopus card. Its a stored value electronic wallet that can be used in most public transports, convenience stores, supermarkets and etc. The difference between a regular octopus and a tourist one is that you can get the deposit back in full if you return back in a short period of time (matter of days. Day passes are not really that useful since you dont really travel on the metro that often. And I salute you both in trying stinky tofu I personally love it but not very many foreigners do lol

Thank you guys for doing vlog of HK, I am a HK local and street food is definitely gold (cheap price but taste good. Taking the public transport is good enough if you are just exploring HK as it is not easy to find a parking lot esp in the central area or the fee is high. I would suggest travelers to visit more neighborhood, I mean of cause the tourist spot is amazing but for me, if I would like to understand or feel more about a city / country, I would prefer going somewhere more locals would go in a routine. :) I know every country/city has its good and bad, so I am happy people are coming and let HKers know how they feel about the city, same as I would like to know more about other cultures cheers

Hello from Hong Kong It's interesting watching this video Feels like you guys tried out more local food than I usually eat within a year lol. I've never tried stinky tofu before. can't stand the smell. Anyways, I think you guys did a great job in researching Hong Kong's history; ) Please continue filming vlogs of other places BTW, I personally can't relate to the background music cus they feel quite old-fashioned (no offense, elder people do like them I guess. Not that the choice of music is wrong but I think HK teenagers nowadays are greatly influenced by Korean and foreign cultures e. g. we usually listen to kpop or foreign music

These 2 guys are so touristy, and so clueless, not least by using those cliche and basically offensive oriental background music, when in fact most of Hong Kong's young people are listening to the same trash EDM music that they are doing in the West. Second, they are filming Hong Kong as if it is some exotic city in South East Asia, when in fact it is probably the most international city you can find in Asia. This is as if I go to California and say Beverley Hills celebrity, Apple HQ and In-N-Out Burgers are all that America has to offer. Very shallow, in a word.

You can watch some Hong Kong documentary video, u will see many people living in a small place full of rats and insects, but it still costs them like HKD5000(USD700) up for month, So if you ask me do I like Hong Kong, I will tell you I really dont. its just too many stress in here.

I am so glad you guys went to Hong Kong Other things that you guys can do in Hong Kong is to experience the nature there. Roughly 40% of Hong Kong land are country parks. In areas like Sai Kung and Lantau Island, there are amazing hiking trails and beaches and of course seafood markets as well. If you really want to go to an unique place, go to Tai O or Venice of Hong Kong. It's a fishing village where all the houses are on stilts. Hard to get to but really worth a visit.

They stopped giving out permits for street food years ago, and unlike other Asian cities where they have designated areas for street vendors as a touristy sort of thing, Hong Kong doesn't for a number of reasons. Any food you find in a wet market are the pseudo restaurants above the wet market where you sit down and eat.

It isn't bok choy. Bok choy is usually very light green on the stalk area and has many similar cousins. The dark leaf greens are the same. They may look alike, but they taste very differently. You can tell because the bok choy varieties are broad and thing on the stalk part. The dark leaf greens you called bok choy has cylindrical stalk.
