Thank you for posting your video. I was born and raised in MN and moved to Billings in my early teens. Now in my 40s, I am still in Billings, however, I have family and keep a summer residence in MN and take this trip many times throughout the year. I found when you entered Ottertail County and other geographic markers, I experienced the same happy sense of 'going home', giddy joy and excitement, as if I myself were making the trip. Certainly an exceptional mood boost to start my day! Thank you, Sir.

As always an excellent video, I live in Mexico City and it never snows here, so I loved seeing the snow.
One question, not everyone drives very fast, when it is snowing there is no risk of skidding, or is it the same as driving in the rain, I would be afraid to drive so fast in the snow.

I do have a question. I got the route and dot to display for the GPS but how do you get the states and counties to display on the route and bottom left as well Am I missing something in the options of the program or do I need to download an overlay online Thank you and much appreciated.

Please post parts 3 and 4! These road trips are unique among your collection because of the weather conditions. They are meditative and beautiful. Don't worry about the frozen wiper fluid. I vote strongly to continue the journey. Many thanks for all you do!

Excellent video! I live in California (specifically Sonoma County, so I almost never get to experience traveling in the snow like this.
I did see an error, though: From 6: 27: 34 to 7: 04: 36, that's Stutsman County. (It still says Kidder County)

Hi Unclecoolie. I give you lots of credit while driving in all that snow. I live in New York and I would be gripping the steering wheel so tightly that my knuckles would be turning white. The scenery is awesome. Please be careful out there!

I’ve gotta ask since no one else did, but what were you driving I’ve worked out there in Montana during the winter and know how quickly the roads can deteriorate. Love the videos, and stay safe on your upcoming journeys!

I must admit that I was thinking, Slow down! when you were driving through ND. But, you know what you’re doing! I enjoyed the drive! Is there a trip from Maple Grove to some place east Keep bringing us these real time trips.

Too bad it was dark as you were going through Minnesota. Some of the protected areas have thick forest and it looks beautiful with the snow. Sorry about the weather!

I wish I had weather like that in winter, only about 1/3 of the precipitation is snow, and it’s above freezing half the time. Is this your coldest road trip

I have driven in that kind of garbage for 50 years now. I live in central Canada, we get very much the same in the winter. It's never fun.

North Dakota is really depressing, no trees, just grass and flatness. Once you get to Minnesota it’s much more beautiful with the trees.
