Venice, Italy cityscape in 8K HDR. I spent about a week in Venice and have always wanted to come film here. This was always one of the first places that I wanted to visit when I first started traveling. These shots are a mix of sunset and night. The audio was recorded using a mix of the Sony PCMD100 and tbe Schoeps ORTF 3D microphone for true 3D sound, then binauralized in post for YouTube and headphone listening. This video isn’t meant as a sleep video, and contains loud sounds from the city. But I do love to share these soundscapes in an immersive way. Oh wow. I had no idea there were so many of these motorboats and that they were _so loud. _ Yeeeesh.
Imagine having a multi-million dollar apartment in Venice and living surrounded by that loud noise.

Has a unique sound in my opinion.
The canals and narrow passages create a sound I have only heard in Venice. Been three times, always in winter and I hope to go again before my time is done.
