This is a short walk in through Omoide Yokocho (Piss Alley) and Kabukicho in Shinjuku, Tokyo. I wanted to start off in Omoide Yokocho, because it's one of my favorite areas for street photography at night. Although it looks great during the day, it's best viewed at night. That's when this area really comes to life. It's a collection of some bars and grills in tight rooms. Then I walk to Kabukicho, which is the entertainment district. It's known for its adult nightlife. Due to the camera's shutter speed at 60fps, there is some pretty bad light flicker

I stayed in Shinjuku for five weeks on my own at the APA hotel in the square. I had walked the exact same streets over and over again and never knew I'd feel so connected to it. Thank you for posting this, it brings back such great memories

I had headphones in while working to this and I was so focused that the train noise scared the shit out of me, it was so clear I thought for a split second the train was right next to me.

Why are we so busy moving around. Everyone seem to have their own reason and each one thought theirs are important and necessary. This video can simply be a therapy for the mind.

I really appreciate grandfather wearing a white shirt in front of you even though he is old, but he can still work and he can still run strong

Serious question. I'm noticing on these videos of Japan that a lot of the stores are advertising that they are tax free. Are the taxes in Japan really that high?

I am amazed with your videos! Is it you walking in all the videos around the world or you have some friends in each country who send you the videos?

Always check for frequency of electric current to set correct shutter speed so lights doesn't flicker in particular country you are in.
