City soundscape of Midtown New York City in binaural audio. This is a view of 33rd street from my hotel room in the evening. The audio is not looped and recorded on location. This recording features sirens, construction, people, traffic sounds, and more. Sounds can be used for sleep, study or entertainment. There's also a bit of white noise. Thank you for your support

I remember visiting my grandmother in Zagreb, she had this big house with many floors. My parents and I had our apartment on the top floor. So every night I used to sit on the balcony and listen to the sounds of the people awake in the city and watch the lights, just enjoying it. Every time I hear city noises I get nostalgic and I cant handle it very well hahah

Im from the suburbs. Im going to college in a city right now (not New York. I loved hearing this sound, especially at night. I lived on the tenth floor my first year of college, so Id always prop my window open at night and go to sleep to the sound. Kinda miss it now that Im back home for the summer.

NomadicAmbience I was wondering. That space in the left first visible floor, where there is a person cleaning the floor and organizing things, is an office or a restaurant? Or a cloth store like that on the right two flors down? Seems to me like a restaurant. What do you think?

Small town gal here. This gives me anxiety Im only 3 mins in lol I dont even go into the dollar general if theres too many cars in the parking lot. I need my silence. Crickets, cicadas, owls. Coyotes. Occasional semi truck passing through the town. No thank you to this lol

POV: You're a NewYorker working hard from home and you take a breath on your balcony, listening to the sounds of the buzzing street below.
Your friend comes to join you. She lights a cig and look in the distance. Snow is falling slowly

I was born and raised in the South Bronx. In 1972 I went through military basic training in Texas. I got there on a weekend so training did start right away. I had a hard time getting to sleep because it was too quiet.

I remember those days visiting a friend when I lived in Philly while in college. It was nice. Too old for the noise now. Back in hometown in Florida. prefer my thunderstorm sounds on you tube.

Just commenting for the algorithm because I absolutely love that this is not looped and all real-time! Thank you Nomadic Ambience for giving me something to listen to while I work!

Is no one else going to comment on the random appearance of birds or white sneakers at 4: 11 on the left side and then continuing going to the right. Kinda unnerved about it.

Born and raised in Bellerose down in Queens, as a kid my mom took me and my sister through the city to visit my dad who owned a factory in Manhattan. I miss the big apple

Of course the first sound you hear is a siren! If youve ever lived in NY, you know thats a daily occurrence. Literally multiple times a day, every single day.

Just got back from my 6 day trip to New York and I actually need this to fall asleep, which is weird since I always appreciated the silence.

As an NYC resident, I cannot sleep without noise and if I ever move out of the city, this can be my asmr at night.

If I ever came to New York I'd be walking down the street with a boombox with an app called volume booster open

I wish just once we would hear some guy with a thick new york accent shout out: Hey I'm walking here!

If I may quote Broadway Danny Rose: I need to get back to the city. I need carbon monoxide in my lungs.
